Manuel, 19 Jun 2010I am trying to synchronize it with outlook and it does not work. Uninstalled and installed HTC... moreI also had the same problem, but it is written on their site not to use the latest version of htc sync. I downloaded the previous version and now it is working just fine.
Used this phone for a month now. No problems with it. It is totally awesome! Just can't stop using it! My advice is, get this phone:)
dud, 20 Jun 2010go with samsung wave, cheaper, div x , better.
I said BETTER!!! and cheaper!!!The Samsung Wave has Bada OS, which for starters doesnt make this as easy to compare to the Desire as you claim. Bada OS is a new OS. Which means not many apps. Which means a not so mature OS.
And the Samsung Wave also has a small screen. Its even smaller then the iPhone's.
So overall, I think the Desire is much better then the Samsung Wave. With Android 2.2 around the corner for the HTC Desire, this device is one of the best smartphone's on the planet.
Yes, froyo is around the corner. Check out the Desire section on xda developers. HTC confirmed it them selves.
android. wenever u download apps, it will only save in ur phone memory rite? with d kind of memory available in d phone, how many apps do u think we can download? n do we need to install d apps? if we hav to install, do we store it in our memory card or d phone memory? does downloading apps, slows down d phone? need help ppl. appreciate it.

My Exchange account(S) work just fine, no problem at all.
My sound quality is great, and I use the phone A LOT.
My phone does not heat up at all - not even when charging.
I don't have any touchscreen issues.
It is super stable.
I can't see a pink circle in my photographs.
There is no lag in mine at all.

Volume control is located where you accid... moreno you dont actually accidentally push it to mute, its the desires feature.. ones you have a call and pick up the phone, it automatically lowers the ringtones volume. somehow you can deactivate it through the settings..
Anybody can tell me does Desire support Chinese Hand-Writing input? & Chinese PinYin?
Hi! Does anyone knows how to use the Quickoffice. I found only the icon of the Quickoffice but it does nothing. Should i find and download the application from somewhere? Pls HELP. I need OFFICE on my mobile. Thank
p.s. I JUST BOUGHT IT. ARE THERE ANY CONFIRMED PROBLEMS WITH THIS DEVICE OR EITH ANDROID IN GENERAL?
Had the Desire for three weeks now. Great features. Volume control is located where you accidentally press reduce, which means that the ringer becomes muted and you do not hear calls. RingGuard prevents this.
