Slim enough to fit into your wallet :)
Solution 2 : Buy a nokia1100.. battery life last for a week... built in LED torch and FM Radio... (FM Radio should be available within the next few years for some iCrap product... 5th... 6th gen upgrade?)

I agree with you that desire ir the best phone at the market right now, but battery life is really poor. Maybe you don't have this phone, or jus talking whatever you like..
[deleted post]just go for Desire,it is the best at the moment, and most of the bad and deceptive comments of the battery and the speakers are from those guys who really don't have the Desire, they are from the X10 forum to cause havoc to the real interested buyer from owning the better phone.
I have had my Desire for about 10 days now. I have to say that it is probably the best phone I have ever used/owned(and I have owned more than a few!)
it is easy to use has everything you could possibly need and the screen is fantastic. To those that are suffering with poor battery life I sympathize but remember that the battery is powering a big screen and this takes juice!. My advice is not to have many Apps running at the same time and also ensure that you have the WiFi and Bluetooth turned off if you are not using them. yes the speaker isn't great for listening to music but what's wrong with plugging in some external speakers or using good quality earphones? I have downloaded a few Apps and these work well. Is it better than the current I-phone? yes it most certainly is and my friends who have been waving Their I-phones around since they got them have now stopped now they have seen the desire. Well done HTC this has to be the best phone on the market at the price. There is nothing I can fault it on.My advice buy one don't go for the I-phone you'll be glad you didn't!
I've had this phone now for about two weeks and I must say its BRILLIANT... except for two real downers: the battery life and the speaker. The battery life is just HORRIBLE, lasting maybe one day in normal use and the speakers are really crappy. Except for those things and few minor weird things in the phone book, it's awesome! ;)
Anonymous, 17 May 2010I just wanted to enquire about the deal im getting on this phone, 3 network uk offered me 900m... moreyes look at orange. deals same wow phone, but better 3G signal in uk, and a better customer service.just a thought.
loving the desire after having the iphone. just one drawback the BACK COVER!!!!!!!!! such a pain to remove the SIM and memory card. They should have an extra back cover with the phone. im sure to break mine if opened once more.
I have my htc Desire now and i think it's really great when you look at screen function and reaction of the touchscreen.
It's very good, and the phone is very fast in responding on what you do with it.
But battery life is poor, but i think i'm going to buy a second battery so i can travel and use the internet :)
But I have a question for you guys, so i hope you can help me.
1. Can you install the apps on the SD card? Because i can never choose where i want to install things? Hope you guys can help me with this!! (because i don't want to put everything on the internal memory)
I just thought I would give my own honest opinion on this phone.
Its probably the best phone I have ever had in terms of functions and screen quality. This phone has every extra you could ever think of and more.
I just wish HTC had not used such a poor budget speaker as it really is shocking poor.
My other couple of issues are the video qulaity, although they claim WVGA, its not the best quality and when you autofocus on something it locks onto that subject constant making anything else blurr if moving away.
Also the quality of the microphone for recording videos is probably the worst I have ever experienced on a mobile phone and this really lets this phone down bit time, extremely cheap sounding.
My last issue is and probably my main problem is when your on a phone call the other party can hear you loud and clear but at my end there is a constant hissing noise and its not a faulty speaker because if you plug in headphones its still identical.
These are not just one off faults as I am now on my 4th Desire.
Udate: It is now 410 euro in Holland. Look at www.bestelmaar.nl But I think this cheaper in The far east like China or Indonesia? Am I right?
I just wanted to enquire about the deal im getting on this phone, 3 network uk offered me 900min, unlim text and unlim internet on 24 months. is that worth it or are there better deals out there for UK
Im getting this phone in a weeks time, but i need to know if it will definitely be getting 720 recording and divx support. Also will this be able to upgrade to android 2.2 firmware because I heard htc did not give any support to htc hero I think it was.
Anonymous, 17 May 2010so how much browsing and usage will 500mb get me?? it will get LOADS, especially use the Wi-Fi when it is available.
Anonymous, 16 May 2010it is a great handset, i prefer the desire to the iphone, I sold my iphone after buying this phoneIt’s fairly common to see clones of Apple’s products over in China, and we’ve caught sight of an iPad clone before. Now it seems that another Chinese company has taken the time and effort to come up with the APad, another iPad clone. It’s priced at $210, which is less than half the price of the iPad, which could become a deal for those who are on a tight budget. Specifications of the APad include: see it at www.blingblingtronics.com

• 128MB of RAM
• Memory card slot for up to 16GB of storage space
