These feature strike at the very heart of the whole purpose of having a phone.
My Network messed up and sent me two handsets instead of one....happy days
Anyone else think the speaker quality is poor? I'm reluctant to open the 2nd handset to compare, as it may affect sell on price
GSMArena has erased text "Dolby Mobile sound enhancement" from the specifications, but "FM Radio with RDS" still standing. As far as I know FM radio app in Desire has no RDS function.

giantpeanuts, 08 Apr 2010May i know HTC desire or HTC legend is better?Hello. The Desire is the bigger brother. Higher specs and from the hands on reviews, rated best HTC / Android phone to date. Mine is on order.

My iPhone lasted half a day when I first got it too, but has increased since then to 1,5 days. Most hands on reviews stated that the battery can get depleted very quickly if you have all the notifications running. All these extras are nice to have, but you have to sacrifice battery power. As someone else stated - If you gonna buy a Lambo, be sure you are gonna have to stop to refill more often than with a GTi.
Anonymous, 08 Apr 2010actually it's 24fpsThe pre-release units were 24fps, but the first update is already available for a few days now that is installed OTA and upgrades the Video to HD 30fps. Or so was stated by HTC.
I ordered the desire as an upgrade on the 27th March...i was told that there would be a delay in delivery due to the fact there was low stock...well i still havent got it yet. Infact i called T-mobile (who i am hating more as every minute passes!, and asked them when i would get it and got two different stories. One that the ordering system was down and the other (from the upgrade department and not the USA call centre) that they had no stock left even though my name was on the original list to get one. Anticipated date when i will get mine is apparently next Tuesday 13th April...thats if they remember or have any in stock....very annoying !!!!!!!!!!:(
To Desire owners, Please tell me Does this device support XviD and DivX videos? Did anyone try? It supposed to support these codecs via a firmware update.
Well, I bought the phone yesterday from Carphonewarehouse, had to pay the handset only as payasyougo was stopped.... Anyway, I have now taken it back today for a refund.... personally I prefer the iphone.... sorry folks! I did find the battery absolutely useless! I know.... it is a smart phone and battery is bound not to last long.... but half a day! nah... not for me the iphone battery is quite poor but better than this one... The actual phone was in itself very nice... internet etc very fast... cameral was extremely good. I think I will wait and see if a new iphone comes out later... if it doesnt will have a rethink.

Its just a preferance, whether u like the huge 'google' word at the back of your phone, or if u prefer a trackball to an optical pad..just a preferance,
