It's not that bad. And comparing this to iPhone is a disgrace to HTC :P It's a matter of taste if you like a full-touch keyboard for texts.

Ive just ordered this phone and was wondering would the Martin Fields Screen Protector for Google Nexus One fit it as no one has the HTC Desire version instock? Im new to touch phones. Is there any other better screen protectors out their?
HD3 prob be a size of a brick after seeing those specs prob wont even fit in the pocket plus windows 7 mobile isnt as food as android.
Hero, 26 Mar 2010i have a hero but would like to upgrade to a device with a 1ghz snapdragon as i dont think the... moreThe UK is pretty far from having 4G up and running, so I'm not surprised it's only being released in the US first.
I will be upgrading from Hero to Desire in May, being a Londoner
To those who owned HD2 and nexus one: which of the two is over all better? Desire should be better than nexus one because it got sense UI and so better than HD2
i have a hero but would like to upgrade to a device with a 1ghz snapdragon as i dont think the hero will get anything beyond v2.1. i like the desire but was hoping for the EVO, though it doesnt appear to be heading to the UK anytime soon. I do hope htc make one for europeans cos i think it's a good looking phone and should get software support for quite some time yet. if the EVO is for sprint only, i might choose to go with the desire.
Anonymous, 26 Mar 2010But the HTC Evo 4G is US-only device..right??Currently it will only be for sprint US.. but not long,.. The GSM version will surely be available.. its just that there are still no available 4G networks in most countries... 3G will become past soon.. 4G will be the future...
Chinese site has got hold of the HTC HD3 specifications from some HTC employees. If you thought Qualcomm’s 1 Ghz Snapdragon CPU is the biggest thing for the year 2010, think again?! HTC HD3 will be powered by the Qualcomm’s 1.5Ghz Snapdragon processor.
HTC HD3 Specifications
Other HTC HD3 specs that have been leaked includes:
Display: 4.5-inch display (1280 x 800 resolution)
Processor: Qualcomm’s 1.5Ghz Snapdragon
Camera: 8 MP camera with Xenon flash, front camera
Video: HD video recording (720p), 1080p video ready
Memory: 1GB RAM, 1GB ROM
Other: HDMI, USB 2.0, 3.5 mm audio jack
Capacity: 16GB internal memory (microSD card support up to 32GB)

Considering the rapid improvement in the hardware specs that HTC is using in its devices, the HTC HD3 specs mentioned above look highly possible by the release date given.
HTC HD3 Release Date
The release date that has been included with the leaked specifications sheet of HTC HD3 is for November 2010.
Spawner, 26 Mar 2010Might wanna try the HTC EVO 4G.. if you already heard or it..But the HTC Evo 4G is US-only device..right??

gagan, 26 Mar 2010guys,girls and gays never buy a full touch phone messaging really sucks i have a iphone but i ... moreermm well thats you. Sure it's not AS easy as a physical keypad but it's not that difficult either, hardly a reason not to buy a full touchscreen phone
Anonymous, 25 Mar 2010Guess After Samsung I9000 Galaxy S then make HTC Desire not as good looking as it was before. ... moreThe Sense UI is what makes HTC phones so great and compliments the Android OS very well. I don't think the i9000 is better, though it is still a very good phone
Plus the after-sales support i.e. software updates is far better from HTC than Samsung
