a short but chubbier N1
the casing looks better than N1 but ya..hope the ram is wrong
also, another pass for Canadians for no 850 UMTS
Brian, 22 Jan 2010The only thing the Nexus has over this phone is the extra RAM (not needed with droid).
On t... moreDon't forget Sense UI and FM tuner.
What worries me is the software updates though, google will probably keep the N1 up to date, but HTC does not have the best history with upgrading android on their phones..
The only thing the Nexus has over this phone is the extra RAM (not needed with droid).
On the flipside, this phone has Multi-Touch, HD video recording, Dolby Mobile and 16M color support.
Are these actual specs, or just rumoured? It lists less ram and no wlan n.
I can't quite see why anyone would buy this over and above the better specced Google N1.
ekie, 21 Jan 2010this phone is better yhan the n-1Yes but they need to work on the RAM.
Here are some pictures, what a great device and with Sense UI:
Anonymous, 19 Jan 2010Omnia Hd has capacitive touchscreen nt resistiveYou are right, my apologies.
I have played with the phone many a time, never found its screen to be as responsive as Ipod Touch's capacitive touch screen, hence i just assumed it was resistive!
Anonymous, 06 Jan 2010no, samsung omnia hd is first led touch - capacitive and 16 ml color display..Omnia HD has resistive touch screen NOT capacitive!
Also, This phone IS Nexus One, only that it wouldn't be supported by Google but HTC instead, this will also have the Sense UI and the capability of recording videos in 720p resolution (just like the Omnia HD)
which the Nexus one doesn't!
It would be a disaster to make another mistake as with the HD2 with the screen. HD2 had a large screen but pathetic colour display. This one has many more colours but a limited screen size. Please remove the buttons enlarge the screen and i will buy this phone.
Could not they make the controls touch sensitive instead of physical buttons like the nexus one...
Optical trackball is a good idea. Smaller size and the spec are good.
Check this Phone Review
I think it is the smallest phone with all of that great specifications, so it sounds fantastic to and cant wait to have it
Thats phones have video recording in HD: Samsung i8910, SonyEricsson Kurara/U5, Nokia N87 and HTC Bravo. Am i right? Wich else phones have video recording in HD too?
Anonymous, 06 Jan 2010no, samsung omnia hd is first led touch - capacitive and 16 ml color display..i8910 HD doesn't support Multi-touch.
no, samsung omnia hd is first led touch - capacitive and 16 ml color display..
It's the first phone that has the both multi-touch & LED tech display! also the first 16 million of HTC.
