HTC_USER, 05 Jul 2011Hey, c'mon!!!
Where is GB update for Desire.
HTC!!! You really disappointing your customers!!!Dude, just go to xda-developers forum and get your Gingerbread Android, it's easy and fast ;)
Dont wait for an official update, it will never come :)
Anonymous, 06 Jul 2011hoy HTC! yung gingerbread namin!!!!!!!!!!Sinong gusto ng Gingerbread update taas ang kamay?!
why gingerbread not yet available.? it was announced that it will be released by 2nd quarter...what had happened now.? it's already a start of 3rd quarter...if Android can't provide the update on the said dates, better not announce the date...we are expecting too much here....
Robbie, 04 Jul 2011Hey dude,
I see that you love your Desire so much. I do too. I've had mine for almost a mon... moreyeah dude..
its features are really superb. ive had mine for 4 months now, and up until now i still love it.
dust under the screen? hmm.. mine doesnt have dust under its screen (no noticeable, as far as i can see)...
hmm i dont think theres a solution but to have it look and cleaned in htc service centers. it'll be too risky to do it by yourself..
ey thats good that you too are loving your desire.. lets share experiences, tricks and tips in using our devices..
It's really hard for me, but think to replace my Desire with iphone 4...tired of waiting....

HTC!!! You really disappointing your customers!!!
HTC has posted many massages on their facebook page on updating the desire to gingerbread, yet nothing has come out.
If they feel the need, something pops out to be shared with all of us on their facebook page. I recommend HTC to stay on the toilet when they feel the need to pop something out and not use facebook for it.
An explanation for this is the low working moral of the HTC software Engineering department, its based in the UK so that says it all. Like in many other UK firms, service and support barely exists. They just want your money.
I suggest HTC to move the software department elseware in the world to take care of its business. That way they can earn some repect from their customers, which is the end user and not the providers.
Lets see how the update soap continous and how long they can they can fool themselfs, not us.
i did search alot for good music
use CM7 and Nokia N8's headphones to feel the perfect music
i got this site wide search. is this possible?
Anonymous, 04 Jul 2011With your own earphones, is the quality good? i.e. is it a problem with the phone or their speakers? Its their earphone problem... they just didnt exert enough effort on the packaged earphones to make it top of the line quality too just like the phone...
It sounds great when im using quality earphones.. the bass sort of booms out my eardrums.. but ipod still is a step higher when it comes to playing music i own both so i used to compare them..
But for a phone that packs these kind of heavy artillery, i think its superb enough to perform that much when it comes to music...
Try it in a good quality earphones and test it with the one that comes in the package, youll see the difference...
Quiapo Dibidi, 03 Jul 2011Hi.. just a continuation after answering ur question 1..
For your number 2 question.. well ... moreHey dude,
I see that you love your Desire so much. I do too. I've had mine for almost a month now and it doesn't fail to impress. The only issue I got with mine is that dust gets under the screen. it's quite obvious especially when I look at the screen outdoors. This is kind of frustrating. Do you see dust under your Desire's screen as well?

yudi, 02 Jul 2011hiee guys .........its a rocking phone i have ever seen in this cheap range ........no doubt o... moreIv posted this before but so u asked...here it is..
Tips to prolong your battery life...
1.Switch ur Network Mode to "Gsm only". having both wcdma and gsm active eats a lot of battery.
(Settings > Wireless & Networks > Mobile Networks > Network Mode)
2.Turn Off "Background Data" in Accounts & Sync when u dont need it. i personally do this whenever i go out when i aint gonna be able/needing to sync.
3.Use a Stationary Wallpaper.. Live Wallpapers has an apetite for battery.
4.Turn Off Wifi when not in use and dont max out ur display brightness.
**i personally dont use task killers, i believe they dont help much in prolonging battery life. i used to use one and theres no difference.
Because in My opinion and to what iv googled around, what task killers do is kill every single program u have... so the moment u tap on anything even live widgets, it has to start on again from scratch.. killing off and restarting eats more battery.
Android is intelligent enough to manage idle programs. thats why task killers is not always included in the default functions and you wont get them out of the box. cause i believe the HTC guys would be the first to know if they're needed or not. (think of this, previous htc phones ,specifically win mo's, always had a task manager)..
