Robbie, 30 Jun 2011Hi fellow Desire users,
Do you experience occasional unresponsiveness on your Desires? I'm ... moreyes.. iv experienced unresponsiveness of the screen sometimes. the screen lags and wherever direction u tap in the screen it responses like your tapping the lowest part, thus activating the add widget menu..
actually this unresponsiveness happend once when someone is calling me, it ended me not answering the call..(cos theres no hardware key that can answer a call in desire).
but one solution for the screen unresponsiveness, i discovered is just to lock the screen and then unlock it..its like refreshing the screen..BUT this wont solve the call problem i had..
what i did is i downloaded an app in the market called ShakeCall.. it makes you answe your call just by shaking your phone.. works great.
If Size doesn't matter to you, i would suggest Htc Sensation or Samsung Galaxy S2. Their Specs right now is really on top of the line. if size does matter... go for htc desire s..
may i ask what comprises your "bad xperiences" in galaxy s1?
but if u ask me, il go for htc sensation.. i just cant live (now that iv experienced it) without Htc Sense UI.. such a great (for me, the best) user interface...
its like having your whole social life at the palm of your hand and how you want it.
Im currently a Desire user..and iv had this phone for about 4months already, and up until now.. im loving it... Really stands out from the crowd while carrying heavy guns of great functionality...
Hi fellow Desire users,
Do you experience occasional unresponsiveness on your Desires? I'm concerned because my Desire would sometimes freeze, the homescreen usually, when I tap on some shortcuts. This doesn't happen anywhere else though -- just the homescreen.
Responses would be appreciated.
let's wait and see till first week of July if HTC can really deliver the gingerbread update. i guess that's more than enough reasonable time for them to keep their promise. if not, no more HTC for me on my next smartphone..

Planning to buy this phone, i heard this phone battery last for 1 day only or few hours, please hep me out!!!!
The nonSense continues,
Listen this lastest statement from HTC:
'A quick update on this, we’re planning to release the rollout timeframe for the new Gingerbread ROM for Desire (GSM) early next week. Thanks for your patience'
HTC is using its facebook website as a public toilet.
Eachtime they feel the need, something pops out and they flush it towards us. These useless nonSense statements about promised but not delivered updates.
HTC do us all a favour if you want to make your desire customers happy, if you feel the need drop your pants and fire a rocket and deliver us gingerbread, as promised from the beginning of sales of the desire with 18 months of guaranteed updates.
To do the right thing, you must first do the things right.
That is real Sense and Sensibility, HTC!
I am planning to buy my first android fone... So this r the nexus one??? And does htc sense really matters?
Latest I've heard is that Gingerbread will roll out on the Desire early next week. Yes, I know, HTC have done themselves no favours in recent announcments, let's see what happens next week.
htc owner, 22 Jun 2011Where is gingerbread? They announced it back in february and again last week after they made a... moreCome on HTC, where's gingerbread!!!
I'am getting tired of waiting.
Give me the source code and do it myself.
'Probably those so called engineers that left school early without graduating'.
It now shows painfully doesn't it.
Just a reminder for all real Men: Always come on time!
