Hi ppl hope everthing is good there me and my new HTC Desire are fine but could be better i just want to ask if someone knows a software better than the HTC Synch to synch my HTC with windows 7x64 cause the official one always takes ages to load keeps updating the library and open the interface after 15+minutes does anyone knows how to fix it or a better software??? peace and thanks in advance...
Those people complaining about the battery life. Do you have the Desire with the S-LCD screen or the AMOLED.
I have s-lcd and will get about an hour or two of internet, about 10-15 texts. A couple of hours of music. About half an hour of gaming. Sync weather every hour. Facebook every 2 hours.
Alot of on and off time. About 10 minutes of calls.
The battery will last from 6:30am until about 7:30pm.
This was after I conditioned the battery.
You can check your Battery usage in detail by dialing: *#*#4636#*#*
Of the whole phones I have owned this is the best, I have Nokia, Samsung wave, Samsung tocco ultra, Samsung g 800, g600, Sony Ericsson. It's fast, reliable, never fail, gps works like a charm, web browsing is fantastic, much better than my wave, the only flaw is battery life, solution: mugen power 3200 mah, now the phone lasts the whole day with extremely hard usage.
The phone is rated as the 2010 best phone in many webs. Staggering phone
You guys are all just blowing smoke....
I have had Nokia, Samsung, Blackeberry (now only good to be used as a paper weight)Siemens etc.... none come close to the Desire, It has all the features that anyone can want or need. Those not standard can be downloaded. So stop bitching about all the other crap, Blackberry cant even compare, as for Iphone its nothing more than a toy!
For those that want to check in detail, battery usage etc. Bring up the dialer and key in *#*#4636#*#*
Very useful if you want to see battery usage in great detail.
Aijaz, 09 Feb 2011Third Class.... Third Classs..... Third Classs..... I switched on from Apple to HTC but could... morePls think before you make any comment. Does it make any sense to design a phone which require 20 hours to be charged fully? If it never occurred to you what might have been the problem then I guess SmartPhones ain't meant for you.
