Avi, 04 Feb 2014I bought HTC Desire 501 around 10 days before, everything looked fine.Camera is good, slim and... moreI was facing a similar problem with my HTC desire 501. Couldnot even get a replacement as the model was not available. However, the company has released a software update recently, which has solved the problem. Later I came to know that the Company had withdrawn the set from the market pending resolution of the issue and has now released the set in market once again after updating the software. After resolution of the above problem the phone is now working perfectly.

i baught this phone 5 days before i got problem with earphone and voice as i wont be able to hear or respond the same.
further i went to htc service centre the movement i told my problem he asked me to come with box for replacement. so as per my view this piece may be has serious problem.

AnonD-110479, 03 Feb 2014can anybody please post benchmark results of antutu & quadrant of htc501...my 501 antutu score 11200,nenamark2 scored 46 and quadrant scored 3300....I am disappointed with the quadrant score ....but overall its a very decent smartphone

I bought HTC Desire 501 around 10 days before, everything looked fine.Camera is good, slim and trim and perhaps the best in the market in the mid range at present. But it has serious problems with its speaker (Both Earpiece and mouth piece), Suddenly my both speakers went off and I was unable to answer or call anyone. luckily its the 10th day and I have still 4 days to be covered under replacement warranty. I will go and get the DOA. this is seriously not EXPECTED FROM HTC. Can anybody from HTC please HELP. But my question is even though I get a replacement, what is the guarantee the second one would be flawless.....
