Hi...friends...I don't know,why your phone can't run games smoothly...but my Desire 501 is awesome...I played hd games like asphalt8,FIFA,blood & glory,temple run oz,deer hunter, & normal games like temple run 2,subway surfer,buggy racing,and each & every games ran smoothly...earlier I used grand & played games on it also....n grand was not bad in playing games but the screen quality of grand was not good so I didn't liked to play games on it....but the Desire 501 is really a very good and stylish phone

Overall,ok.rate 8/10..i only have problem with my front camera..sometimes it doesnt save the picture that has been taken..i have to try it many times.

Now 1 month with this cool handset. Hardware is great but software is not upto the mark. Even with beats audio they didn't provided eqalizer. Anyway sound is great. Also installed a file manager. I had to decide between grand, quattro and c. Luckly i choose this baby for its right size and music. I will rate 8.2/10 for this. -1.8 is just for software issues. Sense 4.1+ is fast but heavey os unlike sony's. Even samsung grand with same hardware runs games more smooth than this. I play subway surfars and jetpack joyride type medium games still they run with lags. Even though it shows 300+ mb free ram. is this really a 1.15 dual core with 1 gb ram and mali 400 gpu. Oh man, my old arc s 1.4 ghz single core with 512 ram handled these games easily. My pc with one gb ram runs smooth(lol).it occasionally closes the browser itself and 2 times till now it restarted itself.
Great hardware with messy software. If software improves like android v4.3 or 4.4 with light customizaton, it is easily best smartphone in its class. Htc, are you listening.

worst battery my 501 doesn't even get 12hrs also
installed battery doctor used in super saving mode but no use. And takes 3-4hrs to charge from 0-100%

Hra, 06 Mar 2014could anyone explain mmi code plzzz?"MMI Code Canceled" this issue is not a big problem, if you are using Post paid connection than you will never face this issue,, basically when we send a SMS or making call, after both of this optt.. our screen show balance after call, but in this set it show MMI Code canceled instead of balance...
that's it........
i don't know why people said this is a major problem...
HTC service Engg also working for issue, in future user will get update for this problem.
Apart for this small problem this phone is awesome,i am also using this phone from last 1.2 month and i really impress with his performanc like gaming, user interface and battery backup is really good. my set give me easlly 1 day back up.
In chandigarh this set is not available in market..
all sets are sold....

honey, 02 Mar 2014pls anyone tell me about mobile looks and internet speed ?Mobile looks good, But lot of bugs guys. suddenly head set stops working, phone hangs often, voice frequency from the phone during call is irritating and its not clear. phone works slow. its not worth guys do not buy this useless phone.

No direct access to my files
No 3g in se one SIM
Mainly requesting how to solve mmi code cancelled
