HTC debuts Desire 610 smartphone
The Taiwanese HTC has presented a new mid-range smartphone at the on-going MWC 2014. The device is called Desire 610 and targets the middle range of the market.
The device is powered by a quad-core processor at 1.2 GHz and has built-in PowerVR SGX544 graphics. Also, there is a 4.7-inch sensor display that works at qHD resolution (540 x 960 pixels, 234 ppi), 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of internal memory, a microSD card slot (up to 64 GB), a rear 8 MP camera, Geo-Tagging, Touch Focus, Face Detection functions and more. The device has a 1.3 MP front camera, LTE, 802.11n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, a GPS receiver, a 2040 mAh battery and more. Unfortunately the battery cannot be changed.
The Desire 610 works under Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and makes use of the latest Sense skin. The price of the device is unknown but it will be on the market in June 2014.

Android os version not defined (I mean kitkat[android 4.4 ,jellybeans 4.3)
I think HTC are doing a great job overall. The Desire 610 looks really-smart! But sadly still getting too big in size, it’s not a phablet but it’s even bigger than the One X and One. I still say that if you had a phone about the same size as the “One S” (very sexy phone), used the real-estate better and relocated logo to back only, put front speakers in, boosted ram, front camera and capacity and kept this as possible . . . basically like the 610 but smaller you would have a major winner across a lot of demographics. The One S could easily be a 4.5 screen.
Kichu, 27 Feb 2014Somany people like small screen phones...I Agree
b, 26 Feb 2014how could you rate this phone as 7.6 at the moment? look at the screen size. look at the phone... moreScreen size is too small? o my god o my god, i dont want to buy this phone because of 4.7 inch qhd display whether i want 4.5 inch qhd display like htc desire 601. but it didnt launch in india (LTE version) . Also I dont like non removable battery.
Xavier, 26 Feb 2014Somebody copied the Moto G!dear Xavier ,first think then write your awful opinion.desire 610 is very better and some higher specs from moto g.if devices are same or copy when they use one hardware and this is your speech meaning I'm very sorry for you.only cpu is same and desire 610 is better in sd card support, better camera, thinner body.if same cpu means copy most of midrange are copy.
