this phone gives good performance as it says the octa-core at first i was amazed too that some less graphic intensive games were lagging on the device but remember to play games from sd card and buy a good one not the cheap or damaged one it may effect your gaming experience other than that there is not any cons according to my opinion but do buy a memory card i would recommend it the battery life is not the much i was hoping for but getting good battery saving apps like "battery doctor" will make the battery last a day

HTC 616 hav secondary camera of 1 megapixel.
When u go into the camera settings then its just showing 1 megapixel camera.

Frndsss in htc 616 whatsapp is not proper wroking yr this phone is very slow and sound is also very slow .

Need to install app2sd application and you can transfer all the apps which can moved from phone storage to SD card.

Shampod, 25 Sep 2014Which one is better......HTC Desire 616 or Galaxy Grand 2.desire 616 is better totally.grand 2 benefits:4g and a little better battery in talk times(because d616 has better screen and cpu)
but desire 616 has better cpu and gpu.and D616 gpu is more than 2times stronger than adreno 305that is used in grand2.htc has better cpu in clock and more cores. it helps you run apps and games better because higher clock and better in multi tasking for more cores. grsnd2 has 1.5 g of ram against 1g in d616 but htc sense is softer and light and less occupy the RAM. for sure desire 616 is better than grand2. go for D616.good luck

I am using these phone during 21 days. I find that phone is getting too much heated during making calls,playing game and net surfing.
secondly, camera quality is very poor specially in low light.
thirdly, sound quality is also poor.
if you are thinking to buy these phone please think twice as you r going to invest around 15k.
