I've had this phone for a month now and it's excellent. Just upgraded to Android 6, it works perfectly. I get 2 to 3 days out of the battery easily, great display, great camera and so easy to use. Best phone I've ever had tbh.
it can update 5.0 or 6.0? and how the battery backup?? pls anyoneanyone response me..
So here is my honest review after using HTC desire 626 for 3 months.
Please beware that these are my own opinions.
Overall I am very disappointed with the htc.
I got this device in 13000 and my brother got moto g 4 at 13500 and he is very happy and making fun of me always.
Please help me regarding following issues if you have answers
1. Speaker volume is very very low.
2. Screen viewing angle is corrupt as it shows black and dark if seen from one side.
3. Battery last hardly 7-8 hours after full charging.
4. Back camera is satisfactory but it can only capture in 9.5 megapixel
5. Front camera is hopeless and cant click clear or hd pics
6. No screen protection as of gorilla glass.
7. Heating issues.
8. Hang many times while playing spider man unlimited and unkilled.
9. Signal reception is really very very very poor. Network goes many time.
10. I can't record video in slow motion and the camera app is of android. Is HTC have their own app.
Although few things I loved are
Handy while using

Seakeina, 02 Aug 2016I have never had so many problems with a phone I want my money back in top of that when I call... moreThis phone is probably one of the best android phones in existence and should be sold everywhere!
I have never had so many problems with a phone I want my money back in top of that when I call HTC they tell me there is nothing they can do it's because it's an HTC phone! I'm going to Walmart's and every ware this phone is sold and telling them to let customers know that this phone sucks do not buy it starting today
HTC 626 Desire GPlus Dual Sim, very
good cellfone, lovely câmera, Good performance,
I bought 2 months ago and im happy.
Lovely cell fone. But its not easy to work with the camera.
Phone doesn't hold charge and takes forever to charge. Reception is terrible. Don't buy this phone, highly disappointed. Practically giving them away on used items forsale and haven't own them a month. Even letting you have service that's left on them!
I have had this phone for 2 days and I regret spending money on it.
It has a horrible battery that takes 5 hours to fully charge under no load, and only lasts up to maybe 1 and a half hours if you're lucky.
The hardware is attrocious, leaving running relatively good looking games to a very choppy experience.
The amount of storage left to use is less than 1 GB. The rest is filled with software and completely unnecessary apps that come with it, which hardly anyone uses. But it doesn't end there, you can't see specific apps to disable them, rather, you can only see an uninstall and delete screen, which lacks every single useless app, so you're stuck with such things as ZOE. An app that let's you make cinematic videos of pictures.
It's theme editor is absolute shite when you get down into it, hard to use, and doesn't allow customization to the amount we all want. It has like 12 crappy and ugly colors you're forced to use.
The home screen doesn't allow for triple panel backgrounds unless you use the online advanced editor, and even that forces you to use background app stickers.
Performance is terrible in general, with the phone even crapping out on itself sometimes.
It does phone calls as a phone does, but not anything else like what a smart phone does.
The only things this phone has going for it are the looks which I made the mistake of going off of.
All in all, I'd give it a 5/10.
I do not recommend this phone.
I changed to this one after my last one broke, and for 20+ more than this one, the last one performed significantly better than this one.
If you want an HTC, buy the newest generation, as that new one seems to finally give HTC a good name.
It's a piece of crap I have the desire 626 it turns off by its self then restarts the phone it freezes for the money spent I could bought me a Samsung galaxy 7 never will I buy this HTC junk phone
