hey i just got the mobile but its not detecting my sim don't know why is it necessary to have both the sim's inserted ???
is there any kind of setup ???
the sim work well with my other mobiles

i buy before 2eekks,mobile is ok,but battery is very bad,because need to charge for full battery 3-4hrs.after full battery,only stand by 6-8hrs.very disappoint on htc 8897508735

HTC desire 700(709d)is fine with spec provided by HTC, but the only issue is MMI code cancelled error- a popup message after call end/SMS end, you cannot view your balance (prepaid users). Otherwise, phone is sleek and blinkfeed, boomsound etc....other specs are smooth to work on including browsing speed. Call/Chat Support center have been telling from last two months that HTC engineers working on this issue to fix MMI code error and release software patch for this at the earliest, but the time is just going on...nobody is sure about the patch release.

The variant for India is 709d. The other two are network based release for China only. The model 7088 & 7060 are chinese network based variants. Only bands differ, but specs are same. The pic shown is 7060.

I m not at all enjoying HTC desire 700 dual sim. It eats battery. There is no 3G connectivity in CDMA at Ranchi and there is no data service in slot to. There is no one to guide at my location. How to use it properly is a big problem.
Would any one help me. Can these problems be resolved. Can I put gsm 3g sim in slot 1? Pls guide.
