its an awesome smartphone/phablet from htc..I have bought 2 mnths ago..it has super camera quality,,fastest processor nd ultra slim design..guys go for htc..because brand matters.

One of the best phones. I have just researched it and bought this one. Sleek / Light / Brilliant GUI / Superb Battery / Decent configuration and immense satisfaction.
I know cost matters but, Quality = Efforts = Money.
I would only say that GO for it.

when i take pic through 816 mobile when flash is on ...the pics are not clear and blur. bt when flash is off pics are great.i remove the back plastic cover and every thing but no improvent in picture when flash is on...any one here help plss

balu, 11 Oct 2014I am using this phone for last six months .It is nice except problem with ringtone volume Some... morego on settings-sound & disable either/both of "quiet ring in pickup" & "Pocket Mode" & check if it helps..
I love this features but sometimes I also cant hear the ringtone due to these features...

Rith, 13 Oct 2014Can I manually equlize music system or where is music equliser system in desire 816.?I think the player of D816 doesnt provide those features, you can download different music player with equalizer & surround & bass effects from play store

Because the first likes look to me an... moredesire 816 is better totally.D816 has better screen (sony z has FHD but very dark and tft but desire hd screen is very brighter and color are so natural and D816 has better angle view).in addition D816 has better sound quality,more battery or a little better camera.htc sense would work very soft and doesn't have any bugs like sony or Samsung UI,so 1.5 of ram working in D816 is equal or better than 2g in sony. sony z has gorilla glass but you can put screen protector on D816 for resistance.sony z is just better in IP and water proof.now you see htc D816 is better and go for it.

Sound quality not so good not loud. My friend owns HTC 816 and it is wonderful.

I am seeing here, many users of 816 wrote that quality is poor and picture captured with blue or yellow colour in night/while using flash. This is due to flip cover only. The back cover size is more thick and prevents passing flash light. Use camera without flip cover to get quality pictures.
