Phone is really good, I have used it for around 1 week now.
But the quality or should I say the design of the head-phone is very poor, it doesn't fit in the ears at all.
And one of the feature that is really important and is missing is that the email client doesn't have an widget.

Hi Guys,
I bought HTC Desire 816 2 weeks ago after a 2 months of research on mid range mobiles. Its a AWESOME mobile with a big screen and the brand HTC. Its makes us pride btw other mobile users. I've installed high graphics games to check it and it didn't lag even a second.
Pros :
Awesome graphics
Large screen
Camera quality is decent
Slim
Good Battery life
Software KK4.4.2
BOOM Sound/Speakers
Dual SIM
Cons :
Power and Volume keys are placed on the left side(may be designed for left hand users).
No Gorilla Glass
Single hand usage is little bit difficult.
My rating is 8/10. I would suggest to buy this mobile for those who likes Big screen and Gaming lovers.

No other phone is comparable in that range but only the thing you couldnt get kitkat but it is upgradeable to kitkat.and desire is 0.5 inch bigger

Don't Buy this Phone, Its having a serious Issue and according to the HTC Support this issue is in most of the Desire 816 Devices in the Market. and HTC Still cannot detect this problem
Bought my phone on 5 July and got it Replaced 3 Times till now, Each time I received a new phone and a new problem and since 1st Device Microphone didnt work and since the last 2 devices the issue faced is similar and still HTC does not have any answer to this..
I Have contacted them a number of times on call, on chat direct visit to service center .. Actually the phone is Awesome but the feeling you will have on getting this phone is worst .. Thought this may be an software issue updated the System all apps but no solution.. If u do have this phone kindly observe that whenever u receive a call do both the speakers make sound,
The Problem is out of 10 Times 2 Times the upper speaker does not ring only the lower speaker Rings.. This issue is only when u receive calls not when u play any media..
If u have Faced this issue or have any solution for this kindly reply as HTC Guys don't Reply.. !!
!! .. HTC SUPPORT IS THE WORST SUPPORT EVER.. !!
