I have been using this phone since 30th May, 2014.
Extremely happy with the overall phone performance!
No lags yet, I play real racing 3d, dead trigger 2, etc but didn't find any issues yet n phone does heats up but that can be tolerated..
Found battery backup bit low..
SIM 1 slot is for CDMA or GSM (3g) and SIM 2 is GSM (2g).
Dual Boom Sound Stereo Speakers on front takes the phone to another level while talking on Hand-free mode or playing music! Had to download some additional music players as there is no equalizer n I am a bass lover!
Camera? Way better then Xperia Z n Z1 n iphone 5s, As my cousins use those phones!
LIGHT WEIGHT, EYE CATCHING LOOK, OVERALL VALUE FOR MONEY!

[deleted post]I too got Desire 816 for 22.5K, I was at the shop for purchasing some other sony phone but got to know that a new phone released.. Bought it the same day! Mobile Store, Faridabad (Haryana, India)
Two days later I noticed the hike in price due to demand sort of thing!

Today m going to get my 816.. I just have one question.. I read some where that 3G speed on this phone is slow.. Is it true?? Also i want 1st sim will be for net and 2nd for calling. So this setting works well?? :)

Friends put your Desire 816 in EXTREME POWER SAVING MODE. When you are not using ur phone, gives more batter backup.
