Used it for about 10 months and suddenly the phone started loosing signals. No hardware damage nothing- just when it toggles between 2G & 3G or vice versa - it just kept on loosing signals. Even in idle mode - u will suddenly see no signals than u need to give it 2/3 restarts. The backside of the phone becomes hot if u have a conversation of around 10 mins. The slot for SIM card is not a comfortable one - U have to fight to bring the SIM out and in process u might damage the SIM. On connectivity - u can't compare the download speeds which other smartphones get on the same network.............To HTC makers - One expects a longer life and better performance at this price slab.

I brought htc 816 in june 2014 and i was very happy with it but last month the power button stuck and now out of order and from 2 months after update lollipop when i call someone it become hang & message appears that call not sent. I have to restart it minimum two times in a day with power button failure. Can anyone help me.

sathu, 21 Jul 2015I hv problem with my camera when I am using the camera battery drain very fast . What can I do... morewhen u do work r exercise after few moments u feel hungry n u req some food!!
In d same way d battery too drains when u employ camera for taking pics r videos if u ve doubt ask any photographer what d battery backup will b for video camera generally 2hrs on full charge..so ther's no issue with handset r else contact service person at service centre for more clarity

i only used it for a month and the touch screen was not working...too bad...my husband bought it in bahrain and am in the pHilippines..any service center her n manila??? too bad,,a waste of money!

I have these phone since march.
Suddenly on june screen froze and nothing is respond.
I send to HTC authorized dealer and after one month they return it to me and they told me that they change screen and flash the telephone.
I think that HTC have serious problems with this model.

post lollipop update, initially i was a very happy user. But now i am facing following issues:
1. 4GB phone memory is getting exhausted very fast.
2. HTC apps which i installed, post installation, there is no "uninstall" option not can move to external card. And they become part of ROM. Very cheap way to promote :(
3. Because of all this, eventually phone starts crawling!
i was wondering if anyone knows resolution without having to root the phone.

Hi there I bought this phone for 2 months now , it works good , but two days ago I found a very tiny white line on the screen , it very hard to saw but it is there , today I found that line became longer to take all width of the screen but still very very thin , I don't know what is that and I know that if the screen was in a higher ppi I wouldn't find it
Now, I am warry about my phone screen and what if get new lines , any one face same problem ?? Any one know the reason of that ?? Plz tell cause I am thinking to take it to HTC customer service
