punk786, 29 May 2014Actually m confused between Desire 816, Moto x and Xperia z..First of all rule out xperia z.....overheating , poor software and horrible screen.....ui crashes all plague the xperia phones....
...Moto x is also a very good phone..both phomes target different consumers....if u value simplicity compactness ..and faster updates with a little power usage here and there the moto x is a good choice...
If u ..browse a lot , watch movies , play games , listen to music , and use the camera....the htc desire 816 is good.....in short if u consume multimedia a lot ...go for the desire...........else go for moto x...
Any way u go ....both are superb phones....

Raj, 28 May 2014Hi SM I want to buy this device please tell me about the battery backup.....it will lost one d... moreBattery backup is average I would say. If you use heavily on 3G accessing Facebook and whatsapp, it wont last a day (so is the most other android phones).
Camera quality is awesome in daylight conditions. Its also good in average lighting. I clicked few pics at daytime in my room with curtains on, got awesome quality. Not tested low light conditions.
Battery Backup: Same as most other android phones.
Camera: Better than T2 Ultra and many other same range phones
I have Vodafone and activated 3G this morning. It works fine for me. Shows H+ in the notification bar above network.
Anybody has 3G activated but it only accesses 2G can be resolved by going to mobile networks in settings and selecting the correct Operator with 3G option. For e.g.:
under mobile networks, I see:
I have 3G one selected and it works fine for me. If you don't have 3G activated and select 3G operator, notification bar will show "R" as in Roaming above the network icon even under the city coverage. So select "2G" then
Hope this helps!!
