Just talked to a very very reliable source ..cant reveal it ..htc india is delaying the release of desire 816 as they dont want to eat into the market share of m8..n they are still to decide the price they will be launching the phone in india..as far as i got to know the price it is going to be launched at is above 28k ....and it will be launched exactly a month after M8 launch ..so its gonna be somewhere around June second week now......i just cant reveal the source but this info has come from a person ranked at very senior position in marketing department of HTC india......

It is running on Android 4.4.2 Kitkat with Sense 6.

I asked 3-4 retailers in Ludhiana and the device is going to be on sale on May 16 or 17. They are also booking the device in advance... Device going to rock... May be it is 4g lte. Lets hope the best..

its so frustating man. The co. Launching the phone doesnt evn knw when it would b available.! The htc guys are fooling us from what 21 april itself. Sometimes they say its availble, smtyms 7may sometimes 15 may..... If motorola launches x+1 at dis point of time, dn htc is doomed.
