I dont think the HTC reps are aware of the colors availability and are just beating around the bush... I hope white color does come.. even if its a delayed one... All HTC promo has been based on white model.. Hoow can they not release the white variant....
But the listings on flipkart.com do not seem to confirm my opinion.. No white model in it... also it says single sim... What a pathetic state..

I'm wondering what changes are gonna be made for its Indian Version.Will the Processor remain the same of SnapDragon.will it be dual or single SIM.The sense Will be 6.0 but don't know will the phone support 4G LTE. Eagerly waiting for the release of this phone.

Due to such a huge delay of HTC Desire 816, HTC will surely lose many of it's customers in India. People have already started buying Moto X, Sony T2 Ultra , etc. after waiting for such a long time. HTC are disappointing Indian fans. People losing interest now, it's a shame. Such a awesome mobile but will become flop due to worst marketing & distribution strategy. Very very bad, unexpected...!!!

Indian version is single sim with 4G.

i did a chat with HTC executive and they called me personally and said the phone would be availble in the market by 2nd or 3rd week of May. It is available on dual sim without WiFi Direct.
Would someone please let me know wt is if WiFi direct is not there? I am not a tech savi...

each and every representative assisting us on htc chat have different info about the desire 816 release date and its specs.....one is saying it will be in market before 7th may, another 14th may, next one 3rd week and some of them were saying may end...what the hell and those people are assisting very smartly so that we can not make any arguments instead of accepting what they are saying.....we are waiting dis devise since feb and for me waiting sucks what to do.........
