desire 70 , 600 al other models are totally fail ....see it uses different metal for its body where as desire 816 is pure plastic even it uses older hardware than the 700 have

If the price of HTC desire 700 is Rs.21K - 22K; HTC desire 600C & 601 is between 21K - 23K then how are you expecting this phone's price to be somewhere around 22K with all the specs better than 700, 600C and 601. If it will 22k then its well and good, i will purchase it on the very first day.

hi im a htc lover n looking forward to desire 816..bt qustn is wht gnna b the price of tht..as far my opnion i thnk it nt should concide 26000bdt..bcoz its a nid rnge phone n it has a cmptiton with grand 2 ..i thnk htc must thnk ober the issue..

if it costs that much amount for a older hardware is totally a fail . even htc m8 plastic version just $483 == 29k . photo quality not only depend on MP :3 if so there are many chinese brands with 13 mp + cam with poor quality

Price of this phone will be between Rs.24000 - Rs.29000.
And its worth having this phone in the above price range because you will never get a better phone which has boom sound stereo speakers with all other features like 13MP rear cam, 5MP front,1.5 gb ram, HD display etc. This is a perfect multimedia phone in my view. I am gonna buy it.

else HTC will fail again in Indian market .see with 23 k we can buy gionee elite e7 ..better spec than this and close to Nexus 5

Only Ram is an issue with T2 Ultra else it... morenot only ram,higher cpu,better UI and excellent sound in htc desire 816 are cause to choose desire 816,in other hand you can see better design and kitkat version on desire 816.and in the last I have to say to you if xperia t2 is made by sony,desire 816 is made by htc(Taiwan).looke at these name from Taiwan: gigabyte,asus,MSI,acer,TSMC(biggest cpu maker), FOXCONN. it's better that you back to your page baby

Sony Xperia T2 Ultra is a way better than HTC 816.
Only Ram is an issue with T2 Ultra else its Sony!

HTC Desire 816 should be a great phone if HTC prices it correctly in India. However, what i am worried about with this phone is lower battery and smaller screen size when compared to Sony T2 ULTRA

wen can we buy this from shops..?? retail or online... no clue abt that.. i ws planning on canvas knight which now seems like a hopeless fone.. now considering xolo q2000 and this htc desire 816.. xolo ix close to 15k.. waiting for htc to release this one to the shops...

the best midrange phablet,its better the grand 2(but grand2 is cheaper) and desire 816 win the competition against xperia t2 with lower price.816 also release with kitkat.the build and sound quality in htc phones are unique.816 is very awesome and upper midrange. if anybody want to make a profit go for 816.
