HTC Dot view seems to be not completely build. the settings part is missing for our phone. i tried contacting HTC people but couldnt reach them. May be ty will fix that in a patch release

huff, 17 May 2015does it have gorilla glass? please replynope... it does not have, but that shouldnt be an issue this days, you can buy tampered glass screen protector, for as low as $6-$12
if you phones fall so hard the screen protector will break but the actual screen mostly will not break.

nidhi, 15 May 2015The worst phone i ever had..Given to service center twice in jst 8 months..previously some bla... morewell dear dat black dot is nothing just a dust :P .. which goes from the audio jack hole.. so nothing to worry... n i dn knw abt charginf n all.... but battery backup on regular screen on is 5 to 6 hours.. with wifi network.. n its normal.. :) with moderate usage it survive 1 to 2 days... and for charging prob... giv to srvc cntr agn :)

Hello Guys, I have updated the phone to lollipop and now i have around 20-30mb of space left on the internal storage and cannot download new apps and update the old ones. I have the sd card and all the movable apps are in it. Please help me out here to make space on phone storage. If i go to ''make more space'' under the storage section in setting, i can only see 3 apps which add upto not more than 40 mb on the phone storage. Please help.

Anonymous, 14 May 2015I am using this phone for 6 months..its battery life is bttr than anyone....next is its perfom... morebattery backup of this phone was awesome.. & then I got lollipop update & its draining battery quicker than when I had Kitkat even though RAM usage shows lower in lollipop.. It still gives good battery backup in lollipop as well but it used to give few extra hours with Kitkat..

If not then follow the steps provided in this link, I used to run this tweak on kitkat on desire 816 & it worked perfectly...

Wow! After couple of hours, my update got downloaded and installed. i m just loving it.
Notification UI is changed a lot, Dot view is there along with File Manager.
Clean Master app was also installed though it can be removed if not required.
Didn't find any issue so far, battery drain is as usual, no drastic change i noticed so far.
