This phone would have been very good if it had 16gb memory inbuilt and expandable to 64gb. Also the ppi should be more than 330.by cutting down the screen size a little

Seems like HTC had done a great job now ! Everyone smiling on this phone i think .. :-)this desire had good enough phone on this range , but if the pull up a little bit more on ppi .. It's great !

we saw new phones and all should accept that desire 816 is the best cost effect and best balance between specs and price.and htc opens a way that introduced a range between midrange and flagship.also with midrange price. thanks htc.

If this device is priced up to $300 then it will be a best buy...gonna sell my grand 2 to buy this phone bcoz it look awesome having only 8mm thickness..

its a great phone for us but does not mention the battery life even price also please soon to release both.

charmer , 03 Mar 2014It must be under 20k in india...if it is than it is gonna rock here... If it is not under 20k... morethis phone is better than xperia m2. if the price is the same, no way to choose xperia m2. Even if the price is the same as grand 2. This phone is still a better choice.

Xperia M2 is really over priced....if this happens with htc 816 also....i will go for intex aqua octa...
I wanna buy htc 816 ...but i jst pray that it's price must be >=20K in India.
