i am using HTC desire 816 dual Sim since one month,its a good mobile phones but there is so many imperfections or defects...
1)we cannot edit the videos which are recorded or captured(have to download any video editing applications from play store like viva video editor..etc
Its no big deal this is no hardware issue its juat an app you need to download.
2) so many websites are mentioned this phone has 4G/LTE support....the reality it supports 3G or 2G only.
Check the Hardware using the dialing code where you can permanently switch your mobile data to LTE, but by default this setting is hidden in all phones you need to configure it.
3)we cannot use the Micro SD card as a default storage..there is an option to use as default but that wont work out all the time..an example of whats app images and videos that always save only in phone memory.
Again boss you are wrong for if you go in apps you can move the apps to external storage, besides you can also make the default storage to SD card for images and videos etc.
4)this phone has 8GB storage,unfortunately the user can consume maximum 3GB(they already mentioned on the pack ,due to the phone software available space is less)..so read the pack before you break)...
Boss, this is never hidden all phones are same before buying check the available memory not the total memory. This phone clearly states its available memory.
5)Retina display is not available on this device..
It has ultra capacitive touch.
6)its very difficult to get the accessories like screen guard or flip cover..specially in GCC countries ..
check online u could find all accessories, not sure for any specific country.
7)Camera features are not good in Night shoot..
This could be a quality issue take ur phone to service centre. I had the same issue and got corrected from service centre.
Besides, this is an ultimate phone hardware wise with its unique features like HTC READ LIST, MUSIC LYRICS IN KARIOKE STYLE FOR ALL MOST ALL SONGS. this is simply a brilliant phone in this price range.

some positive or good feedback also here...
1)Camera (DAY shoot) is awesome ,as well video recording also.
2)battery back up is excellent..
3)there is no lag while browsing and gaming, and very fast,
4)BOOM sound is great
in m overall experience or opinion HTC Desire816 is an excellent phone..definitely you can purchase
at this time i can remember this much only..if its any more i will write again..and am requesting to everyone please do not blame me on my English Language because am not an English native..Thanks for understanding...

good but its screen got some scratches after two months use.
never fall down BTW.
It needs screen protector.
