Sam, 14 Dec 2014I've been using 816 for past 3 months... it's a superb phone but now there is a camera problem... moreCheck for any scratches on glass of the rear camera..
Even i too faced this same issue i went to the HTC Service center and asked them to replace the backpanel and they said Sir , it will charge nearly about 6000rs to change the backpanel .. we will clean the rear camera protective glass instead of changing backcover and they said it is for free ... and now my cam is working gud ...

But very bad in usng some apps.
It is not possible to copy or move from internal memory to external
Worst dailer interface

Hi I brought HTC Desire 816 6 months ago. from past two am nt able to capture photos with rear camera. it is capturing blur images.Can you please advise. any one facing the same issue.

I am having problem with back camera skype video call.....the quality is too low but the worst samsung s duos wiyh 5mp cam gives triple quality. it only started 2 week ago...i think after the 1.58.401.11 update..other problem is the ringtone whilr someone is calling is only coming from bottom speaker while the flip is closed or the top phone area is covered..anyone plz help mee...

Sam, 14 Dec 2014I've been using 816 for past 3 months... it's a superb phone but now there is a camera problem... moreplease scratch out the color on layer from the rear camera glass and then check it
company provides the protecting layer over the rear camera glass, which after some use get scrubbed and creates problem for the auto focus and gives blur pictures but once you remove this layer with soft clothe camera will work fine
please try this and see if it works or not

My dad brought this phone a few months ago for rs 28000.I was awstruck by dis superb phone and its features.But a few weeks before ma sis bought a moto g gen 2 fr rs 13000 that half d price of desire 816.But i couldnt believe my eyes coz the moto g camera snaps far far far better photos including lowlight ones dat desire 816 even without flash.The 5mp front shooter of htc is great,but is nthng compared to moto g 2 mp cam.Also i noticed dat moto g is much faster dan htc.Why is this so???
Is htc desire 816 is not worth the price or is it dat Moto g is far too exceptional.phone??

I've been using 816 for past 3 months... it's a superb phone but now there is a camera problem.... the 13 mp camera is just like an old 3.2mp camera... it takes blurry pics... very bad pic.... even auto focus is also not working well.... I don't know what happened because this condition occurs with the past few days.... At the first time cam takes super shots but now... it's no more..... if anyone have such problems...????
