i bought dis phone last week n dis r my comments on it
pros-
1. big screen,full hd
2. good sound
3. nise colours
4. latest android
5. fast processor
cons-
1. photo quality not good
2. the buttons r on da left hand side which makes it uneasy to handle well

Omar Saad, 23 Nov 2014I have the same problem ... so sound is so low when someone is ringing>> no solution till nowIs it a problm regarding with auto answer option or someting bocz the problem only occurs when sensors are covered...plz anyone find a solution..

Piece of GARBAGE! OMG, I don't even know if I can list everything wrong with this waste of money! First, I had to call HTC support to get help with the phone reverting back to the original settings all the time....not just on one phone, but the replacement phone as well!
The touch screen sucks, as I pretty much have to use a hammer to hit the screen with in order for it to "take" touching an app or "button".
If I am done with a phone call, it takes FOREVER for it to hang up! One day I kept hearing a voice and could not figure out where it was coming from. About an hour later I checked my phone for messages and saw that the stupid piece of crap phone never hung up from my previous call!!! I had to pretty much HIT the "end call" button for it to end the call!
The camera is all screwed up! The list of problems with the camera on this piece of crap are just too numerous to put on here.
Renaming a pic or video used to be easy with one touch of an option, now you have to spend 5 minutes, going through SO MANY options, to get to the point where you can rename a pic or video!
I turn the volume/sound off when I'm at work, but yet, I still hear it ring or ping or make sounds when getting calls/texts/emails!!!
I like the big screen, but it's TOO big to handle in one hand.....and I have big hands!
This phone is made for left handed people, not right handed people.
I HATE the way it lists photos, and cannot get it to list photos in any other way! VERY annoying and useless.
VERY difficult to find anything on this phone, in the ways of editing features and turning features off and on. Instead of one place, they are scattered "all over". Nothing is where it should be.
A complete waste of money!!!!!!

Hi. Guyz.. I am confused between htc derire 816 & Samsung note 3 neo. I m going to buy a midrenge smart phone. So which would be best from d angle of battary , camera & perfomenc.. Plz help.

Its the best phone i have ever had.
No overheating, no software bugs, excellent camera, no hanging problem.
And, recently HTC announced about the lollipop update. Soon this phone will be upgradable to Android 5.0.
If anyone wants to buy a phone, this one is the best.

U do 1 ... moreI too had this problem...not only with flip cover there is the same problem while covering the area near front cam where sensors are located too..u can check it by putting hand in that area while a incoming call is comming....is anyone have the solution???

Open ur flip cover and then tell ur frnd to call u... U vil get da ringtone in both the speakers...

suhail, 21 Nov 2014Nice fon.but i have a problem with file manager...there is no built in file explorer...i downl... moreif u want to move any folder from ph to sd card (or) from sd card to ph memory,Go to settings->storage->make more space. Select wat u want to move and down to the screen u vil find "move to sd card"

Even Front Camera HTC Desire 816 is 5MP & Grand Prime's is only 2MP
