When i go to bed, chrg was 72%,it was in standby mood.no application was running.bt in morning my battery level is 3%.it drains so quickly.it was nt happening from beggining..what
Can I do for extended battery life.or which software can reduce this problem.i bought tis phn 1 mnth before.plz help me.

I have been using 816 past 1 month. I must say this is the best phone that i have had used so far. First of all the phone has a superb look. The cameras are good. The best thing is the touch and feel. The touch is awesome. I regularly use 3g, wifihotspot, games. The battery is really very good. And inspite of using all these regularly the backup is for around one and a half day which is the best i have seen for any phone till date in my use. The music quality with boom sound is mind blowing.... My advice... The best phone in this segment... I am totally satisfied with this one. Go for it.

musi, 27 Oct 2014Pls help Confused of buying HTC desire 816/816gPlease go for 816 but not 816G, difference is 816 has premium chipset from Qualcom Snapdragon which delivers a speed of 1.6GHz whereas 816G has a mediatek chipset which is considered to be mediocre interms of performance. Also the RAM in 816 is 1.5GB and 816 has 1GB, 816 is lot more superior interms of performance.

Hi,
I've had the 816 for a few months now and am happy with it. Am a moderate to average user and have wifi and BT always on. My battery lasts for like 2 days between charges.
Funny thing has been happening lately, my phone was fully charged during the previous night and as at last night when I went to bed, it showed 20%. I restarted it and it showed 86%. I started to watch a movie on it and within minutes it showed 9& and the battery drained completely shortly after.
Can someone advise on what's happening?

I have a Huawei G730 and whenever I restart the phone the ringtone and the brightness go back to default, aka factory settings. I'm guessing that the restart option like deletes the temp. files coz my phone uses to reset the music files as well and I have to go through the entire playlist again. Just turn off the phone and turn it back on and ignore the restart option.

i bought this phone 3 weeks earlier. at beginning it was awesome no lags best processing all apps,games,videos.One day i took my phone to collage in my pocket while i returned home i saw it broken.the glasses were shattered........i didn't took it out.
(it's very hollow and soo slim and would easily bend at minimum pressure).If you are buying this phone be careful of its safety.
