AnonD-388332, 20 Apr 2015which one is good htc820 or htc 820s or htc 826 htc 826 is better...!!!
my htc 826 is not getting switched onn what should i do... it has been just a day i bought it
i was expecting HTC 826 for past 3 months as the specification was stunning. finally i got this phone on 11-4-15. i genuinely write this review for those who are interested in this. in short its an excellent choice but with only one cons thats over heating and battery drains as fast as possible. that too for basic apps . definitely as much u enjoy u will also be irritated to the extreme. really hts hurts... i spoke with the customer care. they told me to walk in to the service centre. i dont know how it will work .
yesterday after 8 days i got DOA certificate from HTC, as HTC desire 820 was not working.. now i've purchased HTC desire 826 but i found as HTC desire 820, Desire 826 also has same over heating problem, this started happen in normal process like whatsapp and facebook usage, and if run youtube than this heat accelerate saturation of it. I think HTC should work on this over-overheating problem, so think twice before choosing HTC.
I bought this phone one week ago. Phone is good.phone is fully closed and sound is awesome but main camera is not upto the mark. Very less zoom in. Front camera is not good with tag of 13mp. Heating problems occur when gaming like coc and it becomes very hot and it does not charge battery while plug in charge after it ... It is value for money and its awesome
The fone is good, amazing features, superb camera clarity, nice speed, 1.7 octa core is amazing.......minor heating problem, but that's normal....
Htc 826 is an awesome phone, i bought it 3 days ago and its awesome better than nexus 5,samsung a7,lg g2. its camera is outstanding, but it heats up a little.but it doesn't matter it depends on your usage.
Please, any user clear it - whether it support OTG ??? Have gorilla glass ?? and does it heat up while playing ?? Please.
Anonymous, 17 Apr 2015heating common problem for all Qualcomm processor this fault not by htc,,waiting for mediatek ... moredude, have u even faced this yourself? It's not even heating... its just warming up. And I'd choose performance over low temperature any day. Only top of the line mediatek processors are any good, rest are no competition to qc
xyzguts, 18 Apr 2015Many opinions here state that it does have heating issues, but then it will be the same for an... moreexactly... I've used d820,it only heats up significantly after you've played games on it for over an hour or used camera for quite a bit. It just gets warm otherwise. That wont have any impact on performance or battery life. In comparison phones like xiaomi mi3 heat twice as much, i didnt hear any complains then :P
