ctg60000, 16 Jan 2015Search for 'ARM big.LITTLE technology' on google... that will answer your question...But this is not big.LITTLE configuration, this is LITTLE.LITTLE. Having one A57 cluster and one A53 cluster makes perfect sense. Same goes for A15 and A7, for example. But using two clusters of the same cores clocked differently makes no sense to me.
Before mentioning that 8-threaded processing is enabled that way - I have yet to find a smartphone, let alone one beloning to midrange category, that makes good use of 8 cores in real life scenarios.
Let's not forget Qualcomm's bashing of MediaTek for doing the same thing not so long time a go. 8 A53 looks like a marketing gimmick.
Wouldn't 4 cores and for example more RAM or better battery be more useful for the same price? Or a simple price reduction?
Arpan, 18 Jan 2015this mobile is Dual sim or single sim ??????Do you not look at the specifications of a phone before you comment.? The answer is right there! Geeze!
salman, 15 Jan 2015hey guys 2600mah battery is not enough for this device my advise is to buy Grand prime or lumia 730Bruh,More than the battery its the processors efficiency that matters.
And i dont think more than a 2600 mah battery would be required for a phone this calibre.
Itll easily last a day on using normally with data/wifi

I'm really struggling to see the point of having two A53 clusters. I see that operating frequencies are different, but why? Wouldn't be simpler and cheaper to have a single cluster with smart CPU governor that takes care of throttling?
