The only bad thing with the phone is that BEATS AUDIO is enabled only when you plug in the headphones. The device has mediocre sound quality and volume. So if you expect powerful music from the built-in speaker then you ll be desappointed. It's a market trick, almost a lie. IT 'S A LIE actually.Let's hope that it'll pass the test of time. Just like it's HTC predecesors did.
I've owned my HTC Desire C for about a year now, it was all good in d hood when newly-owned and for a couple of months til half d screen cracked by unintended pressure put onto d screen which means the screen is so sensitive, the crack even got worse and now even kids ask "what happened to ur phone??" and its £100 to replace it. My mum's HTC Explorer screen is more solid whereas its a cheaper one. and for a couple of months now d phone works slow and there is a lot of lagging. Also d "auto rotate" is ext annoying and does its own thing (e.g when i don't want d screen long-ways)! The phone is too sensitive. When using apps, such as Facebook, most of d times when I open d app it doesn't respond and i have to exit and everything is slow and the home screen even restarts without restarting the phone. The space with the ON/OFF button its also hard to get dirty and hard to clean...Overall not a phone for long-term use. Was good when new.
Darthios Vaderos, 25 Jul 2013The specs state that there are 4GB of internal storage. I only see 1GB. What am I doing wrong?... moreyou can install many different file explorers, something like file expert or es file explorer and so on
Does anyone know if this takes a LTE SIM card so that u can upgrade the technology? My friend just got this phone and was wondering?
i am using this phone from 2month its awesome !!!!!!!! i like this phone very much
i have purchased new HTC desire C. The phone is showing 0.94 GB total internal storage. can anyone y is it not showing 4GB internal memory...
The HTC Desire C has to be the worst phone I have ever owned, at first glance the handset seems like the average budget smart phone, but with long term use it's flaws by far outweigh its positives. The phone is extremely slow, even the most basic of apps will lag (if the phone is even powerful enough to download them), widgets never updated, the volume buttons will break after excessive use, the back and home buttons can accidentally be pressed during watching videos or playing games, the sound system is average (Beats audio my arse), screen is too small soi apps look ugly and stretched to size as well as it being hard hard to type on the keyboard and the phone occasionally turns itself off without my permission. So many better budget phones on the market, terrible value for money stay away from the HTC Desire C!
