I've bye this HTC Desire C it's just WOooW
Why you all compare sony ericsson phones with htc desire c. Sony ericsson lags behing from it in looks. And htc has designed it 600MHz by taking all risk analysis. I think this is a good phone. But yes in this price range htc should have given a front camera or flash.
believe me, 600MHz cpu is too weak for ICS
good storage capacity, HTC should come up with good camera phones now.
xperia miro is better and cheaper than this
miro has front camera, 800 mhz processor, camera flash, bigger battery and is still cheaper than this
I bought this phone a week back. I was disappointed first of all to see the average ratings while I was deciding to buy the phone from the mobile shop.
But I didn't care for the ratings, as people's opinion will never be 100% perfect. I am glad that this is my first full touch screen android phone. And oh boy while I received this phone in my hands I was very pleased. Looks are great and the UI is fantastic and so easy to use. Touch controls are feathery and the phone has some rubberish grip which helps while your palms have some moisture especially.
Let me go for PRO's and CON's:
PRO's:
1)4 GB Internal memory, 8 GB External card free
2)ICS Operating System - the latest from Google market
3)UI is superb, easy to use, you will get the hang of this phone in a week's time easily
4)Lot of apps support
5)Supports 3G, good speed while browsing
6)Smooth in operation
7) Very handy and plays all video formats - MP4, WMV etc
8)Audio quality is amazing - beats audio enabled
9)Camera is decent, so is video recording
10)PDF reader, word, excel, ppt readers installed built in
11) Dropbox support for 2 years - 25GB Free
CON's:
1) Battery life - 4 to 5 hours of continous usage or browsing
2) You have to charge the battery daily, this is the situation in case of all smart phones, not only this one
3) Cutting the call is little bit pain, however there is an option to use the power button to cut the call. You can overcome this problem once you get used to this phone
4) No FLASH or Zoom
Superb phone to use,
its a very good phone as it has got ice cream sandwich operating system and the best selling phone. it has got 4 gb internal memory.i would suggest everyone to buy this phone first and then see how it help you.smile please
600mhz processor?! Why did they let it down with that?! It is surely gonna struggle to run ICS!
Very very expensive! with the same price you can buy Xperia U from Sony which has:
- Better screen (better resolution, more pixels, Bravia engine)
- Better camera (same MP but more features)
- HD video recording
- Secondary camera
- Dual-core 1 GHz Cpu
- powerful GPU (Mali-400 , same as in Galaxy S2)
- Active noise cancellation
- larger battery
- ...
Think again before you buy over-priced phones.
got nothing but a good look
This phone is way beyond expensive for a 600mhz processor
looks Classy.. but little Expensive..
Aditya, 20 Jun 2012Does the camera also has flash? Doesn't seem to look like it has from the images posted.Sorry ,no flash.
does it have gpu & is it a fixed fous camera or auto focus
does it use normal size sim card?
mike, 28 Jun 2012sony live walkman a way behind.how ?? can u explain ... Sony LWW has 1 GHZ processor which is 40% faster than Desire C , flash , Front Camera , HD videos etc etc .. HTC desire C only has a gorgeous look and HTC UI that's it ...
600 Mhz processor does not look good for a phone with ICS. It will seriously hamper battery life and the phone will become slow in the long run.
no flash
before buying it..think about desire s(though it is old but still much better than this) or upcoming xperia miro..they better specs tha this and might have nearly same or lesser price that this phone..
