You can only have ginge if u have a vodaphone unit, all other networks are getting the update for the S release. Or so I have read http://crave.cnet.co.uk/mobiles/htc-desire-owners-face-long-wait-for-android-23-gingerbread-update-50002752/

Had this phone for a few months and the battery is extremely bad. it lasts me around 5 hours and I find my self carrying 2 batteries so that my phone would last a day.
other than that this phone is killer

this phone is a no no for me, it doesnt come close to my nokia n8 in overall experience, in performances, apps, games and of course the camera expierence and the eco friendlyness of nokia, which they differ from every other mobile devices, which samsung, lg, htc ect is all the same andriod? but symbian i mean symbian anna is something is on its own which most attract me to it. so this htc sucks big time
