I have been using my DHD for 2 weeks now, and still it continues to impress me. What more to ask for??
Yes battery may be a little issue, but what gives if the the unit itself serves you right. But in reality, it's a smart fon and a big one too. Not big in a bad way but in a good way so it's normal to have your battery consumed. Mine last for 2 days. I don't usually do calls, just few SMS. I do a lot of games and wifi.
It's ok to charge everyday, or every other day as long as it's being used of what it's suppose to. At least about now.
I m from Pakistan and planning to buy HTC Desire. My Question is that does HTC supports sending and receiving MMS. I have had an iphone but the experience was very bad in terms of MMS sending and specially it was very lame in bluetooth connections.

I updated my DHD with Gingerbread 2.3.3 yesterday and since then, I have issues with my wifi. My software number is 2.36.405.8
My wifi is detecting a list of networks as usually, I can connect to my home network, I receive a good signal, as usually but when I bring up an internet page, it won´t load... I get the message:"No route to host"
Everything was working perfectly before the upgrade, my router works fine since if have no issues on my laptop and so far, HTC´s helpdesk has not been very helpful.
WOULD ANYONE HAVE A SUGGESTION WHAT TO DO TO SOLVE THIS?

The gingerbread update you have seen in the internet is an unofficial update you can use but i strongly do not recommend because you might damage your HTC if you are not really experienced on doing this... Just be patient as all HTC owners to get the official update...!!!
Who has already gotten their OTA update of gingerbread? I currently have an unbranded DHD with T-mobile provider in the US and I am still currently waiting on my update.

Though gingerbread update has been made available for desire hd, but still i have not got it. When i check for update, it says no update available. What should i do now? I live in Bangladesh. Is the update available in all countries?
this is a great phone , just one problem the 1ghz? isnt enough for it, my nokia n8 is running faster than it, for andriod you constantly need more cpu power than symbian, so my conclusion is, in performances i would rather go with Symbian, they rock, , ,
Gingerbread 2.3 update now available!! Just gotta wait for OTA update. why dont HTC give us the option to do the update manually??
