Long time not see you and other , i was really busy with work . did i miss som... more @STAR
STAR is absent and probably collecting his Unemployment pension and/or Disability pension.
He lives in his own fantasy HTC dreamworld. His dream is of HTC world domination...LOL These HTC forums are his life, his world. This is all he has. He has no friends, and lives in a damp, dark garage with a Pentium 2 system donated to him by Red Cross.
He owns this crappy old Desire HD that is full of bugs and dreams of one day owning a newer phone.
His life only consists of trolling the internet for HTC promotional videos and also bashing KING Samsung.
He has probably been persecuted all his life since early childhood and now hates everything and everybody. Now, this is his only way to communicate with the world.
I chased him out of the HTC TOUCH HD forums last year and he left crying and totally humiliated like a hurt spoilt little boy. Then, he returned here.
So, common sense, facts, truths and diplomacy is not an option with STAR . Hatred, envy and jealousy just flows in his veins. This is the type of lowlife/troll that he is. Next he will return here and probably resort to swearing, threatening you and insulting your family etc. This is the lowlife/troll that he is.

I just joined the DHD community. I have some questions. I can not recieve any data through bluetooth. But the sending is ok. And I dont understand the language variations. Please help...

Not its not a faulty phone, you need to configure some of the things to increase battery life.
1. Set the display brightness to little bit less as full brightness is not required which consumes lot of battery.
2. Install Advanced Task Killer and in the setting set auto kill level to safe.
3. If you are having limited GPRS MB's or GB's then disable auto background update in Accounts and Sync.
This will make your battery life max 2 days.

I think its weird that i cant accept files via bluetooth. But i can send from my device..what is wrong.

What I advised you is, when you are nt using yr phone, jz switch off the data connection and gps. And dun let yr facebook or twitter account sync the contacts frequently, instead, I manually sync d contact and auto sync those feeds. The most important is, disable auto brightness, it rili drain d battery

It's just that it's freaking... moreNeither me meet this prob, instead, my desire hd is seriously smooth, I run angry bird, rio, pes 2011 and nfs shift, and the phone is still very smooth, jz with a bit bit lag as those games consume ram, xD!! And, typically android phone doesn't need task killer. It would jz make yr phone slow. Try to unistall task killer, and had a reboot, you'll c d diffrrences

I need an opinion. Can't decide between Nokia N8 and HTC Desire HD. I want a smartphone that runs fast and smoothly with wide variety of apps. The camera is very important as well.
What do you think?

i would like to ask you if you play GAMELOFT games on DHD , try them cause im sure you will like them cause is NO LAGG on our DHD which means we can enjoy playing the games on maximum .
