I did a 4R print and compared it with the 4R print of my previous SE Satio 12 MP, and HTC DHD turned out to be better. I even compared the 4R print with that of Nikon L18, 8.1MP digital camera and still DHD is better. Believe me, it is not just better but superbly better.

I bought the Desire HD in December last year and only got the chance to snap some photos when I went oversea recently. After developing the photos, I was pleasantly shocked to see how good the 4R prints were, better than my previous SE Satio 12MP camera. I compare it further with the 4R prints of Nikon L18 8.1 MP digital camera. Again HTC DHD stands out far better in terms of clarity, contrast and colour. I have also recently upgraded the Android to 2.2.1. Maybe that helps. I don't know but from all the comparisons, HTC DHD is better.

Ur not paying x tra 4 the name ur paying 4 build quality. The HTC Desire HD is a great phone BUT GLITCHINHELL ? When this phone is charging DON'T go 2 far away as it calls, txts, downloads at will. Shame cos otherwise it'd be the dogs.

AnonD-5816, 12 Apr 2011Hye, i think auto brightness won't eveb help much , if u are indoor, just set the lowest brigh... morethanks for the advice. but after doing all your suggestions guys, the bat is still fast becoming empty. im thinking of buying another battery instead. thanks

i need a phone with good focusing camera, very good music sound n good battery back-up n no problem with the systems of the mobile....keeping in mind all these qualities is DHD worth taking....?

I have a Desire HD and my dad has an Incredible S, the Desire HD has EVERYTHING the Incredible S has, and more! E.g It Has an Aluminium Unibody, a MUCH BIGGER SCREEN!!! (4.3" vs 4.0" makes it alot better, clearer and much more stunning!) and in Quadrant Benchmarks (Tests the phones speed and performance, and 3D and 2D Graphics) My Desire HD would get 2000+ and my fathers Incredible S would get 1500+, so its alot faster and when I test the phones the Desire HD is alot smoother and does EVERYTHING faster than the Incredible S!And their is a reason why the Desire HD is over 100 EUROS more than the Incredible S! The only advantage I would give the Incredible S is the Front Facing Camera and Rotating Icon Touch Buttons... Go for the Desire HD and you cant go wrong, you'll be amazed at its awesome screen, trust me :) :)

Lord Greystoke, 12 Apr 2011Yes it's fine as HTC Sense (only two as far as I'm aware) will automatically restart in anycas... moreHey mate sorry for butting in but I read your comment and and am also on 2.2.1 with the same battery issues.you say there are 2 HTC sense apps to be turned of and they automatically re-start.I assume its a restart when the phone is re-started?.I found "htc sense" and closed it but the not sure what the other would be as.could you lend a hand as to what it might be named as.cheers.

Lord Greystoke, 11 Apr 2011I had similar issue when upgrading to 2.2.1 back in December.There is a bug in HTC Sense which... morei've tried this morning your suggestion. is it ok that i force close ALL htc sense in the application? and in the battery usage stat, DISPLAY consumes about 60%. i dont anymore use animation, the brightness is automatic and screen time out is 30seconds. and i don't use notification flash, im doing all to save battery life... thanks
