Having used both android 2.2 and windows phone 7, i'd say pay extra for android, windows phone 7 has very little to offer.

AnonD-5581, 06 Apr 2011no volume in my phn(htc desire hd). checked a lot. but no progress at all. pls help. Did you put the phone in silent mode? (settings -> Sound & Display -> Sound profile)
If the above points aren't the problem, does it play ringtones? (trying to make sure that the speaker actually works)

can anyone tell me android version 2.2 can transfer large application directly to SD card ??I am having difficulty to transfer applications in version 2.1 and only limited space in phone memory ?? Many thanks advance for your kind advice.

Just had my Desire hd two weeks and I am enjoying it a lot BUT I do a lot of driving and cant get my head set to respond to voice commands, surely a phone as new as this must support it???? I dont want to buy a new ear I did loads of research bpiece if its the phone?? efore changing from my Blackberry - starting to wish Id stayed with one. Can any one help???

all the features in this 4n is awesome.specially camera,touch sensitivity,sound quality,colours etc.don't think about the loudness.if u want the loudness buy a Chinese 4n.when we compare to other smart 4ns l think this is the best ever.
