I'm planning to buy a new phone on the 27th and I'm kinda confused to which phone wil... more Go for HTC Desire HD ;)
The phone is really well made , so it will be the best choice that meets your needs. I really like the phone and we have plenty of users here satisfied with it ;)

So this is the scenario: If you bought your phone last year say November 2010 (like mine) the software version is 2.2. No way that it will be updated?
Unlike if you buy the phone today it has been updated to 2.2.1 (recording enhancement).
At the moment, there's no update available no matter how many times you check the update. This is sad for me and for the rest who have bought this phone last year. This ain't no good and it all comes down to business. The service is second to none after sales.

DHD is thinner than Galaxy S? I didn't know that!!
And its touch better then Galaxy S too....wow...and DHD's LCD display is better then SGS Super Amoled (which is best in the world so far) Amazing.
No phone in the business can play videos better than SGS.
Have u ever seen Galaxy S in real......go check it out...once u see its display...you will forget all phones.

Very Bad camera quality....so whats the use of such flash.
and see its screen ...
Can it be compared with SGS's Super AMOLED display.....NO!

from iphone4 to htc hd desire..all i can say htc hd desire can kill an iphone4.. ive been using iphne4 for 6mons den i switch to htc hd desire and using it for 3mons now..pretty good i love it!!

Hi u all.The HTC DESIRE and DESIRE HD are really great... I am just very disapionted in MTN SOUTH AFRICA for always getting in older models and charging hi prices. NO 2011 phones of any brand here.mmmm.....

Hi guys, I just thought I'd give you quick update on battery... I've been running 26 1/2 hrs and its 60% remaining. I have browsed net on WiFi used email and played couple of games. At the moment I'm thinking its the account sync setup which impacts on battery, as have changed setup for updates etc Example Facebook every 12hrs as I'm at work in day and email every 4hrs as it refreshed when you check it anyway. Using DHD now to write this up knowing my luck its probably 20% remaining :-)

weeel ive comedback with and update my battery on htc desire hd it lasted 4 days and 1 hour sooo i;m happay with this phone

This phone is good in terms of features, but it has 1230 Mah battery which lasts only for few hours. Do not buy this handset.

Samsung Galaxy have issues with pop email. It will get too slower, its best for gaming.
HTC works too good with email.
I gave back my samsung galaxy

AnonD-422, 16 Mar 2011 someone tell me , do they upgrade DESIRE HD to ANDROID 2.3 OFFICIALLY ? thank youthere will be a update to 2.3.3 but i think after the new phones are out. right now there are only two phones that officialy recieved update to 2.3.3. Even the new HTC phones come with 2.2 and will get a update later (with Desire HD).
