AnonD-422, 16 Mar 2011 someone tell me , do they upgrade DESIRE HD to ANDROID 2.3 OFFICIALLY ? thank youthere will be a update to 2.3.3 but i think after the new phones are out. right now there are only two phones that officialy recieved update to 2.3.3. Even the new HTC phones come with 2.2 and will get a update later (with Desire HD).

And by the way, srs,dolby digital is all nonsense, my blackberry 9780 has far superior sound than this thing.

I just bought this phone and the battery life is pathetic. Even with all the features turned off. It might as well not have these features. I bought an extended battery and it still sucks. Great phone if you don't use it so it stays on.

Increase in screen clarity brightness
Camera is awesome HD quality superb.

After update battery life increased by almost 1/3. Earlier it lasted less than 24 hours even with no animations. Now it Last more than 28 hours with full animations on.

guys am currently in galaxy s i9000 and now planed to buy desire hd but the screen is not just great as galaxy but htc world is diff than samsung so i just need to know some details is the phone comes with slcd r just an normal lcd in india? and can v make a video call using rear cam pls help me out am gona buy tonight after my work....

It's an awesome phone. Quite under-rated in the society I live in. 4.3 inches display which is powered by Android, hands-down.

Behind the scene I have been reading all your postings may it maybe about the battery, video, sound etc.
I have come across with a posting about an update from 2.2 to 2.2.1. There's a saying that goes "Curiosity kills a Cat" since I am that this curious if I may ask "where do you see this update files"? On the phone (Setting/About) there's no update @ this stage. Kindly advise cause I'm really curious to know :)
