Latest update to ver 2.2.1 Changes
Increased speaker volume..
Srs wow hd sound is better through headphone..
Allover performance is better..
While typing now there is a text selection cursor..
Camera performance is better..
Battery low notification ui changed..
Probably a better battery performance..

A very noticeable improvement in the performance and yes loud speaker vol increased. Waiting for the IBM nanotechnology for long battery back up.

Updated my htc desire hd to ver 2.2.1 and the volume through speaker is louder now.camera quality is better..I'm from india..

Have never used such a fantastic handset befor i had the blackberry 9700 and the iphone 4 needless to say i sold my iphone 4 for $200 to get the htc desire hd and could not be happier even the batery life is getting betterthe longer i use it. I am on my phone all day on facebook web browsing and games and get a full day out of my HTC I suggest to pro long the battery life let the phone run completly flat and the charge it up over night. it dose make a deffrence

This is a good phone but HTC is the worst company in world in terms of customer service.I m in Australia and still htcsense.com is not working here even though they are still advertise it.After contacting their customer service since January I find't get anything except a word called ' sorry'.so I contacted fair trading(government) and I sent them an email last time that I am going to contact my lawyer.After that they wake up from sleep and I got call from Taiwan head quarter.so I will request everyone don't buy a HTC phone if you see an advertisement describing tons of feature because most of the time features seen't working. And they have most bullshit customer service which doesn't know how help the customer,they just know one word ' sorry'.

My Desire HD just got performance update. It is amazingly fast now. I don't need to wait for Gingerbread for any reason now except that it will enhance battery life. Thanks HTC for helping me in safely unchecking that USB debugging mode checkbox.

i bought a DHD last sunday.it rocks.nothing wrong it with.all the features are working nice and smoothly.SOUND,WEB ACCESS,SOUND,CAMERA,BATTERY LIFE all are wonderful.
I have a one issue.my country is SRI LANKA.so i'm unable to access to the HTCSENCE.COM. bcz our country isn't in the country list.so plz tell me if any 1 knows how to access to the htc sence.

after the DHD upgrades to version 2.2.1
1. Phone reboot itself for no reason frequently.
2. Phone system hangs....

Very good phone...
1) Cool Android apps....
2) 4.3'' screen...
3) awesome video recording quality.
4) Internet fast ... lot of option to customize thro' setting
-ve:
1) Battery (however you can manage though setting)
2) No outer button for camera and take photo. You have to go through app and touch screen button
3) If you move from Nokia kind stuff you will hate that 'No option to Quit apps "... you have to go through 3rd part Task killer (but this is not HTC desire HD issue it is Android Activity workflow then don't support Running to quit. It is Destroyed :> )
Overall very good phone at decent price !!!

about the availability in your country, i dont know, but i think it will,,,,anyway, you just check the (software update) from ur phone from April & it might n=be there... :)
