Have been using the HTC Desire HD for the past 2 weeks. Good UX, though the accelerometer has to be tweaked to make the potrait to landscape transition smoother. Nice Market support and loads of apps. Worst Music player I have ever seen. Almost a mono-player. If you are a music buff this phone is not for you. Bad battery. Dissapointed with this phone, in all.

simon, 01 Mar 2011i want to get bejeweled 2 from the market place but it doesnt appear in the search,however it ... moreI have similar issue before to buy PES 2011 for my HTC Desire HD until I do a Factory Reset and start all over and saw it available on Android Market and bought it. Try search EA Mobile which has the game you want and download it from there. You might need to keep trying which you will surely get someday like I did. You just need to be patient.

Don`t get me wrong. I am NOT an iPhone fan. But I had both the Desire HD and the iPhone 4 for a month. The only things that the HTC is ahead of the Apple are, the cell phone reception, the camera and Android Market which has a lot of good free apps. That`s it! The Desire HD is not as responsive to your touch, it has a lot of lags specially if you have apps working on the back, needs a reboot every now and then(to kill the apps which slow down the processor) and more. The screen and the browser are, well, OK and it is smarter than the iPhone or Windows Phone.
I give it a 7 out of 10 only.

i want to get bejeweled 2 from the market place but it doesnt appear in the search,however it appears on the market through my pc but says not compatible with my carrier which is 3 as im paying by visa debit why should that matter?i cant find any help anywhere about this...

I think that it will be the BEST! It's a BEAST phone. Do you think that the Atrix is better? :) It is a great phone as well, but it has a smaller screen, it has a weaker camera. It has less internal memory.

Ash, 28 Feb 2011I am getting my phone today. How many hours I should charge initially before use? Tnx,just connect when battery will be dead then charge normaly like each other phone and enjoy.first month do like that.fully drain and fully charge after you can connect to pc anytime w/o worries about battery life

Hello All
My HTC desire mobile has poor battery performance. It works for 4-5 hrs after fully re-charge. I recently downloaded battery saving software Juice defender (from market) to save the same, unfortunately is not supporting much. please suggest me.

1 - MY conversations i... moreYou need to do a Factory Reset to get things together if the situation still continue.
As for the 2.3 updates, HTC has already announced that the HTC Desire HD will be receiving Gingerbread 2.3 in Q2 (between April and June). You need to be patient and wait for the Official updates.

I got this HTC Desire HD two weeks ago!
Camera quality is much better than iphone4.
Speaker volume little bit low with music player but in ringtone very high volume!!
Battery life is average!! some how battery draining if your using auto sync features! So, desable it if u need good battery life.
Phone is really awesome, no doubt!!

Gentlemen I have a problema.
For some reason my browser has lost a great deal of speed and the Google search bar which is usually green has turned to blue.reset settings doesn't work and I haven't changed anything that I haven't changed in any other phone.
What could it be I'm wondering.suggestions welcome.
