Got mine DHD yesterday. Display can not be compared with my previous super amoled on 8500 wave. It is not not bad, but colors are different not bright. Phone is solid, looks and feels good. I think the battery will hold longer after some time of charging. Pretty sure battery is not the best one, but I can live with it having microUSB cables everythere. Overall experience is good. I don`t regret of buying it. I`ve downloaded some games in 3D - awersome, but screen drains battery very fast.

Had this phone for 4 days, and compared to the standard Desire it's poor. The screen size makes it very nice for reading email etc but the overall phone performance is very poor. The battery life wasn't to bad but the compared to the standard desire its poor. Interaction and response time was slow. Disappointed overall and went back to the Desire. I think that the processor is under powered for the screen.

                  Don't do it :)

You can ... moreAbsolutely agree with you, phones are not a very convenient way to browse the internet. It`s been one hell of a sales gimmick and I fell for it too, only to find out the hard way. Portability was what got me sucked, there`s nothing to beat walking off with the unit in your pocket.

Have resorted to getting an Ipad and browsing is a better experience. Wish Ipad had come with flash, browsing would be even better.

I got it last week, upgraded from an iphone 3gs and personaly i think the battery is terrible.

I used it for a short amount of time to listen to music and then 15 mins on the web. batterry was dead by 6pm and that was a full charge from 9am that morning.

                              other than that its great!

They are there only for convenience. You can only imagine how much kb/mb you are downloading on your phone - this will cost you an arm and a leg.

For better Internet browsing why not use IPAD, Laptop or a desktop computer? Just like when you listen to music - use an mp3 player like an Ipod.
