If I browse internet with very low brightness it consumes 5% battery in 15 mins
And I surf internet a lot so its like a headache as I can surf net free minded. I keep thinking the battery will empty.....
Its a great phone but cant use it fullest....

But i need ur help in a very stran... moreJust do a soft reset of your phone or take off your battery from your phone and reinsert the battery after a minute. That will do the job.

My phone is fine, no lagging...:)
But i need ur help in a very strange bug appeared to me.
Here:
when i go to people & type a name , the letters are typed but i cant erase them or delete them. it is like if they are stuck on the screen.
when i go back, the return to people, the letters still there...
i tried to delete them , but no use..??!!!
can you advise plz.

egasso, 02 Feb 2011i have this phone 5 days, got it on three (3) , and i can say that battery is poor, im browsin... morebattery must be always proper charged when is new then after a month should be better also i personally recommend any task killer. plenty people say no to task killer but i did test couple times w & w/o task killer and tests confirmed longer bat. life with task killer installed,the other thing can help if 3g signal is not 100% switch to 2g but still the most important is proper charging

If you untick the selection of auto-rotate under DISPLAY the default is portrait not unless if you tick the selection then it will divert to landscape.
Just a matter which way you prefer - a PORTRAIT or a LANDSCAPE?

Need your great help here. I have problem with my auto rotate screen. I do not have any idea what happen with it. Under settings - display - auto rotate screen. If I tick that option, my phone will display everything in landscape even if I put my phone portrait. Of course if I untick it, everything will remind portrait even I put my phone landscape. Kindly advice what can I do. Thanks.

Try exiting app with the back button instead of hitting home everytime when ur trying to close the app

1) Disable WI-FI ( not unless you need it)
2) Disable BACKGROUND DATA
3) Avoid using LIVE WALLPAPER
4) Select GSM instead of 3G (not unless you need 3G)
5) Disable BLUETOOTH
6) Download the application called QUICK SETTINGS - to manage your connections easily
Everything will be sweet.

Hi Guys,
I recently just got the Desire HD and I was wanting to know how do I stop applications (multi-tasking) running in the background so there not draining the battery. I know I can restart the phone and kill apps but I don't want to be doing that everytime I"m finished using the phone.

i have this phone 5 days, got it on three (3) , and i can say that battery is poor, im browsing a lot, even now im posting with phone, wifi, and lcd requires a lot of power, it runs out in half of the day, but ill try use only texting, calling and 3g and ill see how is it.

I'm having problem with auto rotate screen. When I tick the option, my screen will be landscape and no longer portrait even if I put my phone portrait. How to solve it? If i untick it, the phone definitely will stay portrait even if I put it on landscape. Kindly help.
