Anonymous, 27 Jan 2011I have DHD and my Bro has Galaxy S. I used both..... Samsung Galaxy S over Desire HD 1. ... moreon DHD vs SGS - how's the user interface experience with SGS on Froyo? If both are equally smooth and nippy, then probably SGS wins, although i'm very happy with my DHD, but miss some of those SGS features mentioned

Galaxy s is very leggy..needs to be rooted and lag fixed..

i love android OS. only one issue...why would i can't receive yahoo mail via wifi push. at home i use wifi as apposed to data from ATT but when it is connected to wifi, it does not push yahoo mail. other than that, android rocks. not an HTC issue, it is android issue. anyone else has the same issue or just me?

Heard that its not available in other countries as well

The HTC Desire HD is a great phone running Android 2.2 and soon to expect Gingerbread 2.3 which will make it a monster.

difference in picture quality)
2. Great Build quality and Great UI HTC sense
Both phones are good at their own place still I would say Galaxy wins but cant say that one is better then the other....it up to personal choice.

to battery life.my 2nd charging so it still not formated as should be,some calls some wifi not too heavy,i finished charging at around midnight of tuesday and still have it in yellow field so i played for 2 days which is not such bad for almost new battery and 4.3 screen.expected worse.who has a problem with short batlife recommend proper formating and sometime is necessary to do hard reset because some t/p apps even after uninstalling leave mess on the phone which can cause shorter life.i owned couple androids and it happened me on each one after reset battery again worked longer.cheers!

Never once regretted after using it for a month now.. I phone 4 users are jealous with the function of the DHD..
