So you guys think I should go for the Desire HD or wait for the LG Optimus 2X?
this is an AWSOME phone. I've had it for a week and i'm LOVING IT. I would recommend it to anyone.
-there's enough apps to go around (don't care about iphone)
-FAST (no lags experienced yet whatsoever)
-multitasking works like a charm
-it's just amazing
-BATTERY is bad but not HORRIBLE. it gets better after few days, mine lasts about a day now (Even 24+ hrs with moderate use on and off)
-Camera doesn't live up to its 8mp HD expectations, BUT it's still good!
-SPEAKERS ARE HORRIBLE. this is so far the biggest problem i've had with the phone but it's not that bad because I use headfones anyway and with headfones it's not bad at all. but still for a phone the speakers are unbearable.
still in my opinion pros > cons and you can't get every thing.

I am using N86 with 1200 mAh. With my usual usage, it gives me 1.5 days of back up. And HTC desire hd with such a huge specifications has only 1230 mAh battery. I wonder if it will last even a day. So please tell me about its battery back up. So that i can decide between Desire hd and the upcoming Sony xperia X12.
Anonymous, 07 Jan 2011I forgot to mention that the Random Reboot only appears after 2 to 3 months usage. The reboot problem seems to be a hardware malfunction, anyone who experienced this should give back their DHD for a new one. Only a few experiences this though.

I have an HTC Desire (original, not HD) that had the repeated random reboot problem and it is being repaired now. I have read in some forums that this problem has also occurred on some HTC Desire HDs. Does anyone know how widespread it is? I would like to buy an HTC Desire HD but have the same problem I experienced with the other mobile. I am also considering the Samsung Nexus S. Any views on that? Thank you.
