Badger, 22 Nov 2010Hi Guys, been watching the ongoing slagging match going on between Iphone4, HTC DesireHD, Sams... moreHey mate... Ive been working as a phone salesman for a while now. For you to choose one of these phones you really need to know EXACTLY what you want to use it for. iPhones are great phones but you cannot customise them at all. All you get is what Apple gives you. Me personally I'd Go android. I have an iPhone 3GS and I am not impressed at how I have to settle for the Apple way, and can'c customise it to the way I use the phone. As for the Galaxy S and HTC Desire HD it depends on how much you use the camera and how much you like HTC Sence. I LOVE the way HTC have set out there phones and Sence overlays android really really well. Saying that the galaxy gets a little bit more battery life and for heavy users that is a big issue in the HTC. All I can say for sure is DON'T BUY THE N8. I have sold over 20 of these phones and I have had 20 back with software issues. Nokia have yet to put a decent processer in thier phones and Symbian SUCKS.
Anyway I hope this helped. :)
0v0, 22 Nov 2010Larger Battery capacity means, larger space & thus will effect the design of the phone...Not quite tru, just to let you know, Mugen is working on a battery with larger capacity but without size upgrade :) you can check their site
Anonymous, 22 Nov 2010i really want to ask htc ' is it so difficult to make a larger battery or u just lazy to make it'?Larger Battery capacity means, larger space & thus will effect the design of the phone...
Can anyone tell why HTC is not using battery like more power 1500mah ,while making such super phone ,is any specific reason ,please respond anyone ,thanks in advance .

The previous model had only a very limited amount of space within the Notes field in the contacts/address book...something like a 50 character limit. Playing around with this new model at a shop, I see that there is more space but no-one seems to know what the character limit is. This is important for me as I keep long notes about my clients and customers in the Notes field (currently I have the HTC S730). Does anyone know what the limits are?
Can somebody please give an unbiased comment about the audio quality through headphones compared to other high end devices in the market??????? (N8,Iphone 4) Thnx in advance..
Hi Guys, been watching the ongoing slagging match going on between Iphone4, HTC DesireHD, Samsung Galaxy and Nokia N8 for a while now, hoping for some clarity as to which one to go for now my current contract on a Nokia 5800 has finished.
I'm not a troll (unlike many on here by the looks of things!) but could someone please clear one thing up for me -
I know about the antenna issue on the Iphone - wouldn't be a problem for me as it would be in a case of some sort anyway, but am concerned still about its performance as a PHONE in areas where the signal might be a bit weaker. Some phones just seem to cope better with weak signals than others (my 5800 is good with them, which is why I'm looking for something with similar performance)
I spend a lot of time away from home, and the wife would kill me if she couldn't get hold of me because my new phone wasn't as good as my old one!
Any constructive guidance (how your phone compares signal wise to previous models, especially if you've had a 5800 before so can compare directly) would be gratefully received.
I don't care which brand of phone I go for, have never been loyal to a manufacturer, simply to whatever is best at the time. The only caveat is that it would be on Vodafone, as they are by far the best service provider in the areas I work.
Will probably be posting this query on the forums of the other phones involved in this decision, although there appears to be a lot of owners who check out all the top model forums anyway!
Thanks in advance.
Simon, 21 Nov 2010In call sound is good music and calls through the speaker is awful cant believe a phone of thi... moreyeaa, very strange from HTC.... really un-believable.
Cos of this major error, i changed my mind to buy it..
:(
King Bradley, 22 Nov 2010I definitely agree with you mate :)and it depends on what do you actually want from a phone.Put it this way if it's a perfect mobile phone .. only the rich people will be able to afford to buy it. Why? Because it's going to be very expensive. Imagine if all the applications are in the mobile phone and works perfectly ... do you think the mobile shops will just sale it for peanuts?
Another thing to remember the suppliers or the manufacturers won't be able to make high profits if they create a perfect mobile phones. Nobody will buy them as it will be very expensive in the retail mobile phone outlets. It's all business.
Come to think of it ... it's very hard to cope up with the mobile phones nowadays ... the technologies have been changing every 6 months in the market.
So let's all be thankful and appreciate that we were able to buy such a gadget ... after all as long you'll be able to call from a-z as well as do sms.
