Myself first time was 7 hrs and had to go charging! Next time is twice longer, since I CLICKED every thing i could click!

But HEADSET is something else! In GSMarena review, they didn't use srs nor dolby! SRS is just mind blowing, and dolby is not so loud, it is more of quality for bigger speakers or tv! NO CONFUSION!!!! SPEAKER IS NOT SO LOUD, HEADSET AND OUTPUT IS AWESOME!!

Nithya, 14 Nov 2010Dude.. Even for a moment I wont believe that you bought this phone because of you previous an... moreI hold your back! I have this awesome phone, the things you sad are 100% correct! Let me tell you about camera, I had x10 (8 mp etc..) and it was like 3.2 from my ex SE k800! But 8 mp on DHD can almost be compared to my cannon! All cavers( battery and sim/sd card) are firmly attached! No problems with that! The display is just gorgeous!!! I don't need any samoled nor retina! This is just fine! No bugs!! NO BUGS! Is fast, it isn't lagy (I don't know way people are saying that all the time). Fast, fast, it is all about speed! ONLY thing you must take care of is BATTERY it self. Must be careful or else you will have to charge it every night. (Not that I am botherd or something, sinc in one day, I got all I need, form WiFi, gaming to telephony and messaging! WHO DON'T LIKE HTC, DON'T BASH, WHO DON'T LIKE DHD, IT IS OK, BUT DODE, DO NOT B A S H!! I come here to find out something helpful and all I get is arguing about some stupid things! I am sick of you kids, go and comment on nokia, motorola, samsung, i dont know, but who is interested in HTC kan't get a word out of you! Ask me if something is problem, I will try to answer as trustful as I can.

Nithya, 14 Nov 2010With Galaxy S you get a bit better loud speaker sounds than desire HD,a better screen and bett... morewatch what gsm arena sais about duel between galaxy s and desire hd: "the Samsung Galaxy S already has a solid market headstart and a Froyo release. Its screen may be 0.3-inches smaller, but it’s definitely superior. The TouchWiz is not the best custom UI but sure gets the job done. The Galaxy S costs at least 120 euro less than the Desire HD, which along with the Super AMOLED screen and the better HD videos is a serious advantage."

S.Cool, 14 Nov 2010hi guys, in previous week when i read the Desire HD specs the display type is S-LCD but now it... moreWith Galaxy S you get a bit better loud speaker sounds than desire HD,a better screen and better battery life.

With Desire HD you get better sounds in Headset,a better camera,Better processor with new GPU and bigger Cache,More Ram(Better processor+More Ram = more Speeeeed....Desire HD is much more faster than any other devices in the market),a slightly bigger screen, dual flash with camera.

And the build quality of the samsung Galaxy S is a bit poor.GSMarena also reported that in their review.
But not like on that review. It was good.I'm sure who ever wrote that was exaggerating.

And Desire HD has an uni body design made with aluminum other than the sim card/mmcard and battery cover. But after all you want be opening those covers often. But other than that Desire HD has a top notch design.. Feels great in your hand..seriously. You'll feel it once it is on your hand..

hi guys, in previous week when i read the Desire HD specs the display type is S-LCD but now it's changed to LCD, Why ?

i want to buy one of them (Galaxy S , Desire HD) but i don't know which one is better!:(

now i have some questions :

i have read some opinions in other sites, one of them that have a Galaxy S said : [I want decent GPS. My Galaxy S is terrible and pretty unusable. This also makes some of the apps they advertise useless, such as Layar, Bump etc. I find me handset pretty slow and laggy at times. Samsung are always slow and seem to be the last to update the firmware! Kies software is awful.]

next person said : [I was considering buying a Desire HD, but now I'm not sure anymore. I've heard about alot of problems with the plastic covering the memory and SIM-card slot. It breaks easily. And the battery stamina is poor.]

and also i have seen the Desire HD videos & images it's Great, but the LCD is realy Poor!

please some one reply to me to which one is better to buy ?! tanX in advanced

mohannad.pharma@gmai, 14 Nov 2010I always put my personal experience with this phone and gsmarena guys are deleting the negativ... moreDude..
Even for a moment I wont believe that you bought this phone because of you previous and this post. Seriously if you bought this phone I'm sure You will love this phone instead of just posting false information.
This phone is truly a giant and I'm sure that You are here just to make this phone look bad and you failed.
In your previous post You said that 2MP camera is better than Desire HD's 8MP camera. I don't think for your tiny brain you can understand the whole concept of Mega Pixels. But anyone who has common sense and a brain to understand something will get to know the truth.I'm currently using Nokia 5530Xpress Music and I'm gonna buy hTC desire HD next week and i have hands on experience with the device. The sound was ok after you turn it up to 100% from settings. And camera was very good for a 8MP camera. And the screen.. Oh My God.I could look at it the whole day.Sure it's not good as Super AMOLED but it gets the job done without complaints. And Battery was average when you cut down unnecessary applications. And people like mohannad.pharma@gmai,please if you hate hTC then you hate it by your self.Don't come here and make false accusations against this great phone.. This is a true giant among the phone. The best Android phone up to date. and the best Processor. With new GPU and a bigger cache. No lag or anything.Super fast.. And very Responsive Screen..Again the Screen....

I would just like to state that if anyone is looking at the phone and is worried about the battery life, you shouldn't be. the battery life is far into average for smart phones these days, the scare of the battery life came about by people opening the box using it till it died and not tweaking its settings. the battery will almost last 2 days on one charge after the battery has settled on its capacity ( Charge Several times ) usually within a week or two.
I really want this device, and studied all of its aspects, the battery life problem quickly became my biggest worry and after digging deep and getting rid of useless information I found the battery usage to be very reasonable. My only recommendation would be to buy another battery if you go on holiday or something. :)

Droid terminator, 14 Nov 2010Mobilemaster do not become blind, galaxy s comes with video call with is very important for th... moreI didn't knew that the Desire HD don't have video call. By the way I don't need that feature. It is not the most important thing on a phone. I admit that it is a good feature. I don't want to be a blind person. The Desire HD can support too DivX files, see the review. :) This one is better then the Galaxy S. The Desire HD can support HD video too.
The Galaxy S has a BIGGER internal storage this is the third thing what need to be mentioned after the video call. Samsung is good at making phones with big internal memory. :)

I always put my personal experience with this phone and gsmarena guys are deleting the negative opinions, again this phone doesn't worth the money, battery is very bad, sound is the worst, nothing special about the screen, really it is a bad experiment,my advice don't buy it.for for I phone or galaxy they are real phones.with this mobile u will always regret especially when u turn the music and u listen to the disappointing sound.the WiFi also has an issue if leave the phone for5minuts then u try to use the internet it will give u connection error,so u have switch off then on the WiFi to be able to reconnect again
