I've had this phone for 3 yrs and I still have no plan of replacing it. I just love this handset and has earned a sentimental value to me. It's my 1st smartphone. My 1st android device. It still performs well. I don't care about the updates. I'm happy with gingerbread. And I have no problem charging it every night not a big deal at all to me. I remerber those 1st few months when I 1st got this phone. A lot of my friends and colleagues at work were jealous of it. They were willing to give up their Iphones and switch to DHD. :)

Can't you download the latest update for your Desire HD on the HTC official site? By using HTC Sync?

My htc desire cannot detect my sd card. I had the card formatted and the phone formatted as well but no luck, any idea on how to fix this?thanks

It maybe become quite laggy occasionally but it is good overall. The battery is quite poor, to be honest, and by some tweak, you maybe can extend it to make sure that you only need to charge them once a day.

I,my brother and sister have this phone, all games,apps,camera,everything you will want. HIGHLY recommended.

This phone is not worth it anymore. Now the hack kit is already retired. Even though the community for this device is very active, 4.2.2 and ubuntu-touch preview is already available, it is hard to hack this germ. And a lot of requirement is needed to officially unlock it. My advice is, it is better to go for samsung device with the same price.

Anonymous, 02 Mar 2013set it to disk drivewhen i connect the usb cable to the computer it was not appearing the options then i have tried manually in the settings and by selecting disk drive no response simply saying the usb device not recognising

sakthi, 01 Mar 2013i want to connect my phone to computer while i am connecting the usb device not reconising .it... moreat the time of connecting usb cable with your system and HTC DHD KEEP your DHD unlocked. when you connect your phone with system it gives you a option to select usb charging only or usb data storage for a while. Click on data storage which will be located at top right corner of your DHD screen then you will get your mobile phone's directory in my computers.
