Harold, 13 Oct 2010Why why why ? ? ? I have a Eee PC 1215N for less then $500. It has bluetooth 3.0 (hi speed) I ... moreIf you think Nokia is better then htc... You need to be educated. 1) htc offers dlna. So you can stream. 2) htc outselling all phones on the market uk to usa.. 3) bluetooth is useless for streaming due to speeds. Its only good for pair ear pieces... So pls.. Don't buy a htc.. The phones to good for u.
You watch a comparison: Desire AMOLED vs Desire SLCD vs HD2 LCD.
I think HD2´s LCD is not that bad. At least Desire HD can´t be worse.
syndicate, 13 Oct 2010Ok. Just wait and see it for yourself. That's the most we can do for now.I asked you something. You tried it? You saw the screen with your eyes to judge it? Do you think that HTC is weak to put something that isn't good? I don't believe this.
Harold, 13 Oct 2010Why why why ? ? ? I have a Eee PC 1215N for less then $500. It has bluetooth 3.0 (hi speed) I ... moreOh come on, Blueetoth is NOT a big deal. There are MANY important things such the CPU, Ram, UI, camera, memory storage. Believe me that this phone is better then any announced Nokia phone. The newest Nokia phones don't have an auto focus. What a shame... We are in 2010...
Mobilemaster, 13 Oct 2010I don't really believe you. That screen isn't weak. You tried it? The is NOT out yet... Do you... moreOk. Just wait and see it for yourself. That's the most we can do for now.
Why why why ? ? ? I have a Eee PC 1215N for less then $500. It has bluetooth 3.0 (hi speed) I can get a N8 for $539. It has bluetooth 3.0 too ! This cell will cost closer to $800 and it does not even have bluetooth 3.0 which means I won't be able to stream hidef movies from my netbook to my flatscreen 65in plasma thru my cell phone :-( How stupid from HTC . . .
I asked HTC about the display, they said they can not comment or give me any information that is not shown on htc website.
I guess we´ll just have to wait and see...
Mohsen, 13 Oct 2010Why no HDMI? forget about old 3.5 ,give me HDMI..
why no BT 3.0?I like stand too.. just like BT 3 works faster only with another phone, which has BT 3 too.
However, most of phones have BT 2.1...
Anonymous, 13 Oct 2010I've seen it and it was a big (4.3" big) disappointment :) Anyway, then I rephrase my pre... moreI don't really believe you. That screen isn't weak. You tried it? The is NOT out yet... Do you think that Sony is that weak? The SLCD is a competitor with the Super Amoled display.
Mohsen, 13 Oct 2010Why no HDMI? forget about old 3.5 ,give me HDMI.. why no BT 3.0?I like stand too.. just like It has DLNA... good enough
Its one of the best phones you can find in Android family of mobiles, with 1Ghz processor and 700+ RAM

Liao, 13 Oct 2010Hi, can any kind soul tell me whether this phone is using the SLCD or TFT? thanksThere is no such thing as a display is S-LCD or TFT. TFT means thin-film transistor. There are big arrays of TFTs in LCDs and AMOLEDs. So LCD, S-LCD, AMOLED, these are all TFTs. I couldn't resist to make this clear, I hope this is helps.
You wanted to know whether there is a high-quality S-PVA alike LCD in this device, and the answer is no. It looks more like the display of HD2.
Mobilemaster, 12 Oct 2010Who said this to you? Where you read that this has a regular LCD screen?? Tell me please. You ... moreI've seen it and it was a big (4.3" big) disappointment :) Anyway, then I rephrase my previous statement: S-LCD is a corporation, more precisely a joint venture between Samsung and Sony. This LCD might be their product in DHD, however it's a low quality display. Just imagine a 2 years old LCD like in Touch HD or HD2. You can confirm this if you take a look at the comparison videos of DZ and DHD. We'll also see it soon in the reviews.
AFAIK release should be with-in next 3 WEEKS. Keep checking that site though
