HTC Desire HD - user opinions and reviews

i'm using Desire HD for about a year, it's fast enoughe, very smooth, and very good at internet browsing.. the camera and the screen is just the best.. the only problem is (it can't get ICS)

I've personally had the Desire HD for less than a year now and I feel like throwing out of a 20 story building. It's slow, crashes constantly, and the battery barely lasts more than a few hours on medium to low settings. J have an 8 gig memory card in it with next to nothing on it with maybe 5 downloaded apps on it and only the preinstalled on the HDD. I use 2 app killers running constantly just to b able to use the device as well as running less than 3 widgets at any given time with still barely any functionality due to slow-downs. The touch screen sensitivity is only about 50% because normal use is difficult and typing is almost impossible because the keyboard is hardly responsive, especially the autocorrect and personal dictionary. The screen is large and beautiful to look at and the camera is fantastic, as well the durability of the phone is amazing. Over all though; 2.5/10

rocky, 13 Sep 2012can any1 plz tell me if the dhd is better or not. cz i want to buy it. is it better than galax... moreits awesum dude! and it is more durable than arc or ace.samsung is all plastic.this one is pure metal.sleek..can be upgraded to 2.3.5 and very versatile..believe me its goood.

Okay! I've a couple of questions about this DHD. How to root this phone? I was searching for it. Download a few .exe files but couldn't work. Another question is after I root this phone, how can I upgrade to the latest version? Is it JellyBean or Ice Cream Sandwich? Please help.

Munnum Khalid, 03 Sep 2012worst phone i ever had and the biggest mistake that i had bought this phone. random restart ba... morejust try to restore factory setting. it help a lot. and please format your sd card first before mount it to your htc desire hd.
